Happy birthday onestep

Looks like we might actually have some sunshine today. No eggs yet this morning but I'm hopeful of one later. Though the eldest chicken is being extremely vocal this morning. Don't know what's up with her - they have food and water....

I am all bunged up today - must be all that dust I shifted yesterday. I may have a day off today, or I may do some more spring cleaning. I'll see how I feel after another cup of tea.

Need to do some cleaning in the kitchen, the milk was leaking in the fridge last night so cleaned it all, including taking skirtingboards off and cleaning underneath......still leaking this morning so going to go sort all that out with a HHC at 9............join me if you can.....xx

Morning all, all our snow is gone. :j Mind you it is to come back monday and tuesday and temp to drop to -16 at night, i'm really not looking forward to it. The school have said they will probably close most of next week.

Snow suits are washed so need dried today. I'm in the mood for a major clean and tidy, then we have the youth club party tonight and another party tomorrow. Hubby away this morning and then football on when he comes back but i'm gonna make him help after that. Kids are gonna get breakfast now and i'll get the sc on with stew for tonight. Then kids will be given a list.

Valli - I hope you get somewhere with the insurance.
Helen - huge hugs, what a difficult time for you and your family.
Hugs to everyone else who's having a tough time.

Any advice, anyone? I wan't to get DS2 a TV/DVD combi (19 inch screen or less) for his room, so we can clear the old, bulky one out of the dining room. All the reasonably priced ones are out of stock everywhere, though. Have tried Mr T, Curry's, Comet, Mr A, Argos - running out of options. If I can't get one it will be a selection of small presents for him.

I was dead to the world until DS2 came into my bed around 8.30 - can't even remember DH getting up and going to work, so I must have needed it.
Got to write a quick e-mail for work, then DS2 and I are off into town. I can't decide on the best time to go to Mr M's. I might go just before closing in the hope that it's quieter.
Oh - mustn't forget to take something out of the freezer for tea before we are going out. Breakfast first, too.

Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction please? Want to start learning as much as I can about crafting next year as I can Going to collect patterns, ideas and recipes and put them in folders but want to categorise them - are there any threads on here that can help me please ladies, (and gents)
