Letter from Housing Association...Council still hasn't paid Housing Benefit that's due...[slams head repeatedly against bare concrete floor - concrete because can't afford carpet, never mind pay £1700 rent that I'm not liable for...]

All mentioning local government ombudsman. Eviction, disablility, etc.


And now I'm going out to meet up with friends in London and drink too much.

well in a slightly short HHC I have

washed dishes
put bin out since snow is almost gone
took both meter reads
logged meter reads on my spreadsheet
done comparison for cheapest supplier
phoned my supplier and changed to cheaper tarriff

now im going to do another HHC starting at 2, I am going to make my bed so it looks pretty and tidy, then hoover bedroom, hall, spare room and bathroom, then i will bring the hoover downstairs and do downstairs since my back has stopped hurting, then i can get on with wrapping presents once everything is nice and tidy

my ongoing list

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Room
Level One
Declutter and mop/vacuum the floor
Level Two
Wipe the kickboards!
Level Three
Sort through and clean out one cupboard
Clean the oven and hob..
Extras
Dust and Deweb
Tuesday - living room, hallway, stairs
Level two
Vacuum the stairs and hallway and living room
Level three
Wipe the sofas and wash any skanky soft furnishings
Wipe the paintwork in the hallway and up the stairs.
Wednesday - Master messroom! and landing
Level Two
vacuum the landing and floor
Level Three
Wipe down all the furry paintwork
Extras
HHI
Thursday - bathroom, study and other grotty places!
Extras
Post all the cards you need to post
Wrap all the presents for family/friends
Friday - children pits, spare rooms or just neglected spaces
Level Two
Vacuum through the rooms that need it
Level Three
Clear out the toy boxes.. (or a box of guff) .. Santa wants to fill them up.. but he can't if there is no space!

Afternoon.

I've been into town, and got last few presents with the exception of DH who so far only has a book from the charity shop and a minty choc orange! :eek:

I have vacuumed from top to bottom kicking stuff out of the way muttering about all of the carp. Vacuum also has a tear in the hose :mad:

Lounge looks good as there is never carp on the floor there but our bedroom :eek::eek::eek:

Just having a 5 minute sit down, then on to tidy and hopefully wrap presents. Will need to get them posted asap.

DH has a very stiff neck, but thinks he will be well enough to go out and drink copious amounts of beer with the lads tonight for their christmas do. he will be in the spare room like he was last night.

Have hoovered through downstairs and now looking at more invites.....stupid cold is here again!!!

Will dust and deweb the LR and stairs in a mo........

In my slightly over HHC I have done the following:

Washed the pet bowls, put them away and changed over to Christmas ones
Washed up all the gunky things in the kitchen
Thrown away all the tbags that have been collecting
Changed the filter
Cleaned the outside of the kettle, and shined with baby oil - ooh shiny!!
Wiped the wall units down and shined the door knobs with baby oil - shiny again!!
Blasted out the neighbours with Glee - Christmas album
Washed the microwave inside and out

Whoever's idea it was to use baby oil to shine stainless steel - brilliant!! I treated myself to a tiny bottle of it from Asda this morning and it is fantastic Only trouble is my kitchen will shine and we will need sunglasses to go in there..lol

Wm now on stand still. Hubby home and watching the football, late lunch done. Kitchen coming around nicely and soon time for Rhys to have a snooze.

Ok have set up my playlist for the next 2 and half hours, so off I go on my HHC,
