I'm in, although feeling so rotten I don't know how much I'll do. Anyone have any miracle cures for a sore mouth? Both corners of my mouth are cracked and sore and my tongue and lips are tingly and sore. No amount of lip balm/blistex/vaseline is making any difference. Think a trip to the doc is in order for tomorrow, I'm feeling so run down :(

Nivea do cream in a small pot. I am a musician and need to keep my lips in good health, I had a problem with splits a few years ago and my teacher told me to try it. It seems to soak in a bit better, hope it helps.

ETA Been putting together a programme for our Christmas concert but finished now. Will have the cuppa OH made me then tidy the stuff away from spare bed again.

What a day so far...... been to dentist and got 2 fillings and nose hurt's ever since...... Get home to a message from the school..... they wanted a meeting today at 12 but i only got home at 12..... School phone out at 1.30 to go and lift children as it's really snowing hard here..... go in and DD is in tears again.

Turns out the other girl (bullies sister) has finally been caught out and the little madam was even shouting at DS2 today, it's starting to become a family thing. Anyway head came out and said how proud she was of DD for telling the truth and that DD is in the right (big change from last week when it was all in DD's head and she needed emotional support). The meeting was changed for tomorrow but i've told the school the kids won't be at school with the amount of snow. So i just need to keep on at the school now and hopefully things will get sorted out.

    Sorry rant over. :o

Kids now all out in the snow so i'm gonna get the wm on and start the kitchen list.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Oh, and has anyone who sent off for it got their Mirror lego yet? I sent a postal order weeks ago and nothing so far - it had better get here for Christmas or I wont be impressed!

This was the same last year.. it is likely just delayed by the lack of post getting through.

Vanilla.. you must be so relieved.. Keep on at them and I hope the situation resolves very soon.. I'd also have them apologise for saying it was DD..

All praise and glories on high in here.. school is open tomorrow.. I am praying now DS3 goes too he is horrible.. he has been a nasty little bully to the girls and rude and obnoxious.. I see a severe battle of wills coming on!

Off to do food.. and BED EARLY!! :D

honeybee83 - check out post 1, it's got a list for today - if you stick around all week, and do level 1 every day, your place will look better in no time :D

Level 1 & 2 done so far.. summoning up the energy/inclination to do level 3 :o.

Doing quite well this morning tho - went to physio first, then Mr A and bought things to make cranberry & port sauce, which will go in jars, and then into hampers for a few people, together with some HM chutney. Looking forward to making it later, it always smell so yummy! Then went to parents' place, and sorted post/bills for them.

Tonight I need to sort the presents out.. I think I'm pretty much there, but until I see it all out it's hard to visualise, and assign to people! Then it's finishing off the cards I think.

It's freeeeeezzzzing out there.. it was -6 for the school run this morning, and the car has iced up again since then.

hope everyone stays warm and safe.
