Pigpen i'm just hoping that the head doesn't think the wee chat today is the meeting....I'm thinking of writing another letter stating all my concerns, at least it would be down on record.

Rubbish now all out, painkillers took and kids now all in. The snow here is unreal and it's still snowing.

Right gonna get the worktops cleared.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Afternoon....just popped on to say I'm flying in my own strange way but things are just very busy with work, the universe and everything. Busy in a good way not a stressful way so that's good. We've also been watching lots of Christmas DVD's and playing board games by order of Jinky so it's been lots of fun. Staying on top of the flying but only just so I'm hoping I'll be able to get on tomorrow and do a list or two. Big hugs to everyone xx
  • Afternoon, all...

    Monday's gubbins done.

Trailed around IKEA. Spent £60 and only got one little pack of decorations (what I actually went there for, compared to the rest of the stuff...). The Bloke is presently replacing the upstairs loo seat - £7 for wood, rather than the £30-odd I spent on the one in the old flat (which I had to leave there, as just didn't have the spare cash to replace with a cheapie one just before I moved). So bottoms shall be slightly warmer when placed there tonight than last night, when it was quite possibly the coldest spot in the house. :)

Tried B&Q. The trees were overpriced (compared to the prices they had advertised) and were in the process of self destructing all over the car park.

So the tree shall have to wait until the nurseryman's is open this Weds and DD shall have to try and assemble a gingerbread house tonight instead.

Popped into Mr S and actually bought some presents! And Aldi to get the 3 bird roasty thing - I'd rather have fresh meat, but at least if it's sitting in the freezer, it doesn't matter if I CBA to do any more meat shopping.

Got 2 pairs of microwave socks/boots - one for DD1 (even though she's an ungrateful b who hasn't even said thank you for her 18th birthday champagne, I will not stoop to her level and leave her with nothing) and one for DD2 (who is currently on the largest scale charm offensive I have ever witnessed - it must be the time of year :))

Now sitting in dark hoping nobody notices me doing beggar all in the way of housework.

Oh. The Cat has noticed me [bundle]. Ow. Sharp claws. MMmmm nice, warm kitty cat on my lap. Zzzzzzzzz
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Hello Mudders my twin, nice to hear it's been fun :)
Pigpen I'll keep my fingers crossed for DS3 being at school then
How is it coming along poohbear?
seafarers wife try not to worry too much, hope you are better soon

Hope you're all staying warm and safe, sheesh it's lethal out there today! Boys have been back to school but haven't managed to get a great deal done. Snow is forecast but I am ignoring in the hope it will go away - the forecasts that said no snow changed their mind about 2 hours ago!

I've promised DP I will sort the sitting room and dining room out, I need the sitting room done to shift the rug from the dining room, so can't get away with one or the other then he'll build the table that's been in the car for 2 days. So as I am now in - CBA mode - I should make a move and get on with it
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
