Evening all
Finally I can post and do something else at the same time thanks to DH leaving his laptop on the table and logged in, so while munching my tea I will say a big thank you to central command led by the queen with the fluffy flying mules.
When tea is finished I will make a start on the list that I printed off at work today in the only spare 5 mins that I had at work today being the only one in of a team of 5 with 2 reception areas to cover (1/4 mile apart!) 8 phones and 3 email accounts!!!
back to the point - flying, did the floor last night hoovering at midnight and hopefully the rest wont be too bad. Also need to updates finances and see if there is anything left at all this month as I still have another 10 days til payday and just need to find dosh for petrol food, lunch out on wed, babysitter friday, and lunch out on the following tuesday . At least most of the presents are bought, just stocking fillers and Ds's to get.
Question
DS has seen a replica jacket of the one Christain Bale wore in The dark knight (not the full suit just the black one with red stripe!). Its £190, the thing is I have seen alternatives on ebay from £75 and another website for £108. Would you risk buying one of the cheaper alternatives and possibly having a poorer quality and also risk other things like the £108 one states in T/C any cancelled orders within 7 days forfeit 75% of the purchase price, not that I would cancel but it rang alarms bells if it was poor quality and I wanted to send it back anticipating problems. Also not an ebay buyer so bit wary. Thanks in advance.
Anyway teas done so better get onMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Evening all,
HHC at 6.45 anyone?0 -
Thank you pigpen, toots and other thread helpers. :A
I have decided NOT to join any extra challenges as I don't ironand I hope to be ready before Christmas eve. I have very little to do as we are going to a wedding on 26th.
Yesterday I bought my second gift. I have never been so late in buying for Christmas. It will be two small gifts each for DSs, DD, DSIL and DH. They have had the opportunity to give me an idea of a gift. If they don't speak up soon they will receive something I deem useful
KAZ I would be wary of buying from someone suggesting you forfeit any of your payment for goods. Look for someone with 100% good feedback if possible, at least 98% as some people can give bad feedback for nothing.

Well it appars that alot of people have been to the dentist today! (not us)
My sister opened her gym today so I sent some flowers, I really hope it is a success for her or she will lose her sanity and an absolute fortune.
It's my Mum's birthday tomorrow so DH dropped her present in on his way to Birmingham this afternoon.
DD1's friend is in trouble. She only realised because she had a test as a matter of course before an x-ray. I'm so pathetically relieved that it's not DD.
Dinner eaten. Now to tackle the list and do some more ironing. I WILL COMPLETE THE IRONING CHALLENGE!!!

Not managed to do any of the list yet but my youngest has chicken pox and has needed cuddles more than I need a clean kitchen!
However I have managed to cross quite a few things off my "proper work" list so not too bad considering.
Oh well double list for me tomorrow!
