  • Managed to walk to the library today and spent an hour in there. Kids spent an hour on the computers, and I had tea and cake. Yum Yum.
Another nsd for me today. Didn't get what I needed as I didn't fancy carrying bags whilst trying to rid behind the kids on their bikes.
Just having a rest now that the kids have gone to watch football with their dad.
I hope to have a good day again tomorrow

  • :j Hi Keeping Positive (I love your username.)
    Thanks for dropping in.

2013 is not really that far away considering how far you have already come. You will have a great 2014.

Nsd are hard for me too, but for the last week or so I have been thinking about my dfd and if I stop spending so much I could bring that date forward. I just can't wait for this whole process to end and then I can enjoy my life.

It will not be a nsd for me today as I still need to get a few things that I needed yesterday, I just hope I don't spend too much.:o

  • Lovely day again today:beer:
Found 62p whilst cleaning the living room.
Kids dad has given me £100. I don't get anything very often so I think he may have sun stroke:rotfl:
I will need to save this as it will be an expensive few weeks. When the kids go back to school will need to pay £5 something for ds2 milk . I will need to also pay £30 deposit for ds1 school trip. Then, I think it will be £70 for ds1 and 2 swimming lessons when it restarts on the 9th May.

I think that makes it more the £100, so it has already been allocated. Just happy that I now don't need to find that money from somewhere else.

Mot is also due in May:eek:. I will need to check the date for this as it always cost a fair bit.

Pay day is next Thursday. Due to the tax changes I will be getting an extra £26 pounds :T. I will the be able to transfer this amount to my savings account along with my other pay increase £50.47 now.

If I can just get through the mot without any major issues I should be ok, otherwise I am in trouble.

  • This long weekend seems to be flying by.
Friday - Worked for my mom and got paid £40:j This will go towards paying for my MOT/ Oil change.
DS1 also helped out and was rewarded with £20. He has now saved up the £30 deposit for his school trip. I am so proud of him.

Saturday - Didn't get in until 2am in the morning. I was so tired all day. I had to then go out later to a 50th birthday party. Again, I didn't get in until 2am this morning.

DS2 got jealsous of ds1 getting paid to do jobs, so went to help do the cleaning and washing up at my moms and got paid £10. My mom tried to give him £1 but he told her he wanted a paper one like his big brother.:T That's my boy he is learning fast. He is a very expensive helper:rotfl:

I am still knacked from the last few days.

NSD on Friday and Saturday and still £83.21 in the bank. A dd is due to come out for £23.89. So, after I put £20 of diesel in the car I should have £39.32 for shopping.

Still £7.01 left in my purse.

    Happy Easter everyone.:j
