Thanks ps2659 and baldhead for the 6111 code. The message said the code didnt work but the phone has accepted the virgin sim. Still says o2 on phone startup and in corner of display but also says T Mobile in the top of the screen and it sends out calls.

Hi. My girlfriend has asked me to get some confirmation on this point. Whilst the phone still says O2 there is no way for o2 to still be charging for any calls is there? The contract has been fully cancelled with O2 so all the cost runs throught the virgin sim.

Not at the present moment, only by your netork provider, but it will cost.
