Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in your phone. When it says phone restricted, press ‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code, and input the code into the box on the screen.

Can I unlock a phone without having a "wrong" sim?
I want to unlock a 6260 IMEI 355045004362089 locked to O2 in order to sell it on ebay but I haven't got any other sims apart from O2 ones.

Can anybody help with the code too please?

There are no remote codes for your phone, only your network provider can help, but it will cost.

Oh thank you, why do the code generators generate numbers then!!!!???

The first page of this thread doesn't show a 6260 as one of the unlockable phones that's why I was still persisting!
