Browntoa i think you'll find it is not the 'English' flag, but the union jack....the British flag,...no it's not the same thing.

Hello - wondered if you could help me - I have a Nokia 1100 phone on Virgin network I would like to unlock - the IMEI is 35793000/141660/8

I have downloaded some software but was not sure which of the three virgin network options to choose so went for two different ones and got the following codes:

#pw+399016316772312+7#

#pw+834911055231614+7#

and both failed but I had no sim in the phone when I tried them - do I need to have a different networks sim in the phone? If I do that the screen shows "sim not valid" and I read on other posts i should press the undo button - is that just the clear button so I can start typing the code.

put a non virgin sim in and press undo then enter this code without the spaces

But the phone flashes "Code Error" at me after typing the last #
No spaces, no sim in phone.

I've unlocked Nokia's before without problems but not had this problem before.

Tried that same error. My dad found the handset is it possible someone has exceeded the number of code unlocks, so it now needs a cable unlock.

i take it your 100% sure its locked ??
