    How about abstinence ?

If you play adult games they have adult consequences.

Not realistic though is it? Plus as mentioned previously if the young girl was in a violent relationship she may not of even consented to sex! Who knows.

Why is abstinence 'not realistic' ?
Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.

I think that if that was the case, it would have been mentioned by the OP, also If that had been the case, then this thread would have taken on an entirely different focus on the case.

But that's the issue...they don't know that she tried to apply...I have given options to the OP to see if that could be rectified.

Another thing i would like to know is, if the op just said or wrote on her agreement that she applied for the job online. How does the JC actually check. Do they ring the HR department of boots or any other company and actually ask..?

Ummmm....dunno...I've never been on JSA so can't comment on the job application process (maybes someone else will be able to help)

unless....if you get an email confirmation (which I would imagine you would), maybes you have to show that as proof?

As I say...am not sure on that so maybes someone who is on at the mo or a worker from DWP could enlighten us (I'm curious too, now that you have mentioned it :))

Which just shows that GPs can't be trusted to certificate where benefits are concerned and why bodies like ATOS are needed.

The experience one person had with their GP shows that a computer software company should be assessing patients for benefit medicals?
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

In an ideal world it would be, however I don't see everyone abstaining from sex just because they do not wish to get pregnant. In today's society and the pressures teens face growing up I just don't think it is realistic, Just my view.

Hopefully it would have, Even if the sex was consensual she may of been scared to say no if he was violent?

I thought you might pop up - do you have some kind of alert when the "A" word is mentioned?

This is one person's experience of a GP but it isn't unusual, which is something you fail to understand. All the GPs I've ever had ( about a dozen in the last 30 years) have asked me whether I want to be signed off and for how long - it's what they do.

i dont think so im not ure id want to post something like that online even if it is with a user name and not real info , im not saying she was raped. but think about it who wants to have sex with a guy who beats you. he may not have forced her pysicaly but i doubt she was 'up for it'. any way to the OP im sorry your daughter has had her money stoped but boots only let u apply online. maybe u could let her stay at home for the next 3 weeks at leats then there would be no gas or electic to pay till her money starts again? (her houe benift should stay the same)and try getting hardship sunds so she can get some food. for the next time tell her to keep all records and if she dont apply for something make her write down why 'eg' asked for aplication form was told the postion has been removed. with times and dates. i know thats not much help now but as long a she can prove she has tryed for 3 jobs a week dose it matter if its one the job center put her forward for? i know they want her to try for every job but i thought there was a minnim agreement? any way best of luck to her(and the baby) i hope she get something soon.
