It seems like Abound have realised they made a bit of a c0ck-up up about the DAB radio e-mail and so have cancelled any orders sending out the radio instead of the tv.

How about people not contact the company within a few hours of their order and ask them when their £70 tv is coming! :mad: It only alerts them to a mistake and gives them time to take action i.e. not to charge your card etc.

Shame... would have been the bargain of the year for me… though I’m still waiting in hope. If anyone has anymore info, please post it here.

Damn right it would have been bargain of the year.. well theres a few of us that still havent contacted them but its probably too late.

No difference - I was referring to your comment about people not contacting them within hours of the 'bargain' being had.

Some of us still havent replied to the email re the bush radio..

I bought 4 - 2 on credit card, 2 on debit card and they've taken money off both cards. As far as I'm concerned they've entered into an enforceable contract and are legally obliged to send me a tv and dvd. But getting them to send it would probably involve going to court and spending more than the tv's worth.

Bloooody ell...... well if they have taken the cash well done... bit of a touch considering you ordered 4!

Well good luck to you mate! If they've taken the cash get in there... Anyone got the CS number for Smile as I cant find it... its not showing online on my bill and I want to check if the payment is still pending..........

Still not sure where my dad is with this - he emailed them saying that as far as he was concerned he had a contract for a tv.. Will get the latest of him...

Judging by the number of posts since last week I take it no one got the TV then. Abound no longer have money reserved on my account and no DAB radio has turned up... guess this definitely is a lost bargain ...Unless someone has some other information
