has anyone else noticed that if you search for the tv that we ordered it doesnt find it and they have changed the model number on their website...?0
-
After I receiving two confirmation e-mails for the windscreen TV I then got the e-mail about the stock numbers being wrong and that it was actually the radio etc. When I logged in the order had changed to “BUSH TR2003DAB” for £69.30. I was hoping that they would send me that so a contract would have formed and I would have grounds to argue on.
Just checked this morning and the order now shows as cancelledWould anyone suggest ringing them up and ask to have it re-instated?
Bleugh- I’m screwing at myself for not saving the web page with the TV on it. If it helps I do have a print out which I could fax to you.

!!!!!! - my details to register for an account are at home........ best I check I think to see if they have cancelled my order too.......
Come on MSErs - Need some expert advice here!!!!!0 -
Apparently the reason why they cancelled the order for the radio was because they were expecting me to e-mail them back and say "yes go ahead and send me the radio which I didn’t place an order for", even the though their e-mail said the radio was sent, and if I didn’t want it I would have to ring them so they could collect it.
Sounds like this will be a lost bargain…unless someone can come up with some ideas… anyone got any ???

we prolly wont get anyware, emailed them some of the following and received a reply referring to T & C
unless they've charged your card you have NO CHANCE

In response to your email claiming "an error on our website"
The part number for the bush radio is, and always has been VM1429
I ordered a VM9323 Philips 28PW9617 TV, that is what I hope to receive,
I don't accept the 'wrong part number' excuse after looking through your website.
Why have you now created two seemingly identical webpages for the VM1429?
one of the pages has embedded in the HTML source the following
CLASS="product-option-description">VM9323< (when you search for the part number VM9323)
the other
CLASS="product-option-description">VM1429< (when you search for part number VM1429, AND when you do an indirect search for DAB for example this page comes up)
clearly this shows you have simply set up a duplicate page and quickly edited the HTML to point any searches for the TV part number to the bush radio
infact the ONLY way I can get the VM9323 page to come up is a search for VM9323 the part number of the telly!
Also, using your image naming structure as a further example
http://www.abound.co.uk/assets/Abound/s/V/V1429aKA03.jpg
http://www.abound.co.uk/assets/Abound/L/V/V1429aKA03.jpg
http://www.abound.co.uk/assets/Abound/XL/V/V1429aKA03.jpg
The above links are the the various stock images for the VM1429, no mention at all of VM9323
Following your naming structure and picking a product at random would indicate that the first 5 digits consist of the catalogue number less the second digit
My image cache at home clearly shows images titled V9323xxxxxxx from the Philips TV page that you have now pulled

many thanks to the three people that PM'ed to help and the guy that emailed
basically, unless they charge the credit cards no one should bother chasing this up as there is no leg to stand on
IF they charge the cards, then I now have all proof that they are pulling a quick one with the bush radio excuse........yaaymoney saving my @rse.
