Well of course i wasnt going to get both - that wasnt the point of my post,- grateful i got my money back, but still too many unanswered questions for it to be 'just a small business that has been overwhelmed' just want other people to be aware of this so they wont be disappointed - They are still taking orders on their website - if they cant cope they should close it down0

To be honest, sounds like a small business has been overwhelmed and affected by the weather.
At least they have done the right thing.
I agree I don't think there is anything dodgy about them too much info on the website, including telephone numbers.
It is though questionable how just 3 people can delivery trees nationwide bad weather or not that is a very tall order.
If everything is legit with them, I do wish them all the best, a small company who have done the right thing and refunded people, that's definately worth a :money:0 -

They didn't/don't answer the telephone numbers on their website though. There wasn't even an answerphone.
Re the bolded - it was this that actually made me think after I had ordered that it was fake. How can you deliver all over the UK "in house". In my case they didn't deliver on the agreed date but e-mailed saying it would be delivered "sometime next week". I work, so likely wouldn't have been in when/if they had delivered. So they would have driven from the West Midlands to London and had to drive back with the tree and then what?
I still don't understand this - at least with a courier company they can leave it in a depot near your house. What do this company do, especially if there are only 3 of them?0 -
i recieved an xmas tree from this site today, i am not happy with the tree and have emailed them asking for it to be collected and also for a refund, yes it was deliverd the week that i requested when i ordered and they also emailed me to say that there may be a delay due to the bad weather, when the tree arrived today i was surprised that the tree was in a box and not wrapped as i expected, the guy said he was just the courier, the tree (only 3/4 foot) had been forced into the box with the lid pressing down on the top of the tree, the tree had not been potted right and wobbled, also it just looks like a mashed up bush at the bottom with a very long branch poking up so not easy to decorate, in all im very disapointed as the tree looks cheap and nasty and embarrasing to put up in my house, i will have to find a replacement now, i hope i get a refund and they pick it up.0

Ordered my tree in November for delivery Monday 6th December. Received an email stating that due to the bad weather they were running 3 to 4 days behind schedule. Received another email on Wednesday 8th December saying our tree would now be delivered either Thursday 9th or Friday 10th December.
Oh what a surprise no tree has arrived. No response to emails, landline just rings out, cannot leave a message on mobile.
We have no option but to go and buy a new tree this morning:(
I've cancelled the order last night and also this morning but because there is no response you don't really know if it will turn up today/tomorrow/Monday or whenever.
Should I contact Paypal?
Very frustrated and annoyed. Will never trust again & make sure we buy our tree next year locally.

I would instantly take it up with paypal incas the company just disappear.0

If you have paid via paypal, start a dispute for none reciept if you have concerns, you can always close it if your worries are unfounded and the tree shows up. I find it's amazing how things suddenly appear when you do.0

This is the first time I've replied on one of these sites but I needed to tell someone... I ordered a tree from Christmas Trees 2U on 3rd December, then I found everyones comments, which has left me feeling a bit of an idiot to say the least! I did receive an email from Darren on Wednesday last week saying the tree will be delivered on 9th or 10th... guess what it didn't arrive. I do sympathise with their recent problems but I only have so much patience... only hope I can get my money back!0

I ordered my tree from the site on 11th November for delivery on 7th December. I also received the email saying it would be delayed. It has yet still not arrived. I have had people waiting at my home to ensure someone would be in if it was delivered on a different date or time, but as yet to no avail.
I have tried emailing and calling both mobile and office phone numbers and as others have stated it just rings through. I have received no emails back regarding mine, and my tree is now nearly a week late. I have asked for a refund, but again, nothing as yet has been indicated to me that this has been done.
I am going to have to buy an alternative tree now, and feel really disappointed in both myself for using a company that I knew nothing about, and two for CHRISTMASTREES2U to not even bother to reply or contact their customers. I understand that it is really hard if they are legitimate and are only a very small company, but there should have definately been staff in place for the season atleast! I just hope i can get my money back...
Darren, if you read this, i have now requested a refund. Please contact me to arrange this.0
