Hello,
My order no is 4651 for £60.90. I have also e-mailed you. I really hope I can get my money back.0 -
I was told that my tree would be delivered by a courrier service - which really shouldnt have made a difference if you were 3 or 30 men. The most frustrating thing about it all was not being able to contact you for confirmation or reassurance. and, if you have had the time to find this forum and post a reply on it - how come you didnt have the time to reply to your paying customers e-mails - it would have saved everyone an awful lot of hassle -0

I can only assume that the complaint about false registration details was passed on including my link to demonstrate that they were a business. While I remain hopeful you all get your refunds/trees, I have to wonder about the people who haven't who don't know about this forum.0

In the main few people have requested refunds because they have been understanding about the weather conditions and the delays caused by it.
The blanket email we sent out to advise of the weather conditions and the delays it had caused was fine for most people.
I would love to sit here all day answering the phone and answering every email, not a single tree would get delivered if that were the case.
We are out at 5.30 in the mornings and not returning until past midnight. Getting stuck in snow in badly effected areas doesn't help, but we are doing our best to get on top of the backlog.
Not what we wanted to do at all, but we are doing it to get the trees out.
We have never tried to hide any of our details, they are on the website for all to see (as per the law).
We apologise for the oversight with the domain registration details being hidden, but that is now sorted too.
I would love to sit here and debate every little thought running through peoples minds but will finish by saying we are not here to scam or rip off anyone. All delays have been caused by the weather and we are almost on top of the backlog of orders now.
Any refunds/cancellations requested by email are being done as soon as possible.
Merry Christmas0 -
You need to contact the MSE admin team to get permission to post here, basically so we all know you are genuine.
Untill thats done, I would advise other posters not to post any personal info, order numbers etc0 -
Anyone had any luck with this company? Im in the same boat and not quite sure what to do cannot get hold of anyone (send another email today)0

Sounds like you're barking up the wrong tree."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I have just checked my paypal account and I have a refund for the full amount (although it says "pending until 15th dec" - is that normal for paypal? I don't use it much.)
And Darren, I don't know how on earth you imagined you could provide free delivery to ALL of the UK using just 3 drivers whilst also guaranteeing delivery dates. I tool a day off from work to wait for the delivery, as I am sure others did and then had no communication from you. Can you see why people are a bit annoyed? You could have used couriers to get the trees out (as most other online xmas tree delivery firms do). 3 people driving from Inverness to Cornwall to deliver is not realistic.
I ordered a xmas tree from xmastreesales.co.uk on monday and recieved it on tuesday (yesterday). They used TNT delivery and the order price was actually £2 cheaper overall than yours even though they charged £9.90 for the delivery.
I am glad to have my money back though, so thank-you for that.0 -
I have also now received a refund, so even though i dont have a tree at least i have my money back - Still very dubious about them though, they did say my tree would be delivered by courrier, so should have made no difference to their workload, i e-mailed them several times to find out which courrier company they were using and never heard a thing from them.
Would be interesting to know if anyone actually received a tree from this company - and if you are still waiting i would recommend you try and get your money back asap0 -

You weren't going to get both, were you?
To be honest, sounds like a small business has been overwhelmed and affected by the weather.
At least they have done the right thing.0
