    Another present sorted.

Arrived. It is described as "solid sterling silver heart".
I don't wish to sound ungrateful but it does not feel like it to DH or me. It is light in weight, as though it is hollow.
And no hallmark found to show that it is silver.

Yes, I am disappointed even though it seemed a bargain.

    To be fair......
Solid doesn't mean that it's not hollow....it means that it's not silver plated. For a pendant like that to be solid, it would quite heavy and very expensive. Hope that helps a little....and I am in no way affiliated with the company, I guess I know my jewellery a bit because I used to sell it and went on many many courses.

Hi just wanted to explain about hallmarks. Sounds odd but the UK law is that you only have to hallmark items over 7.8gms in weight that is why this item won't be hallmarked. As explained however it is solid silver, but a hollow cast piece of silver jewllery made in two parts then fixed back together.

i would think that as most of the smaller amount items are out of stock there have a been a low minority of mses etc yet again abusing the £10 off and making 100+ orders maybe???? this is a small company and to stop themselves going bankbrupt have changed the minimum spend. i do not blame them at all, i think its nice they have come on the board and explained a little.

the code was posted yesterday, we all know you have to be quick to get these things so tough titty if you missed it!

This was not posted as a glitch but a genuine offer, it even stated on the website and on the confirmation email! People become so smug when it all works out for them! It is only normal for the few that held off to use the voucher which clearly stated it was valid until the 2nd of January to feel that it has been unfair!

Agreed. I could understand them changing the code and the minimum spend requirements for new people signing up, and I could understand them charging postage with the £15 spend limit, as that is what I would have expected from the T&C (I hadn't realised that p&p weren't being charged tbh) but to give someone a genuine £10 off of £15 spend voucher when they have genuinely fulfilled all requirements and then refuse to honour it sucks IMO.

I have a perfectly legitimately come by £10 off £15 spend voucher in my inbox (signed up for newsletter as directed etc), and the company are refusing to honour it unless I spend £25. I really, truely am confused as to why people are praising their customer service with regard to this? They are arbitarily moving the goal posts.

If it was a glitch I could understand it. But if the company cannot afford to give £10 off of £15, then why issue a voucher for that amount? And this is not the first time they have issued a voucher for that level of discount, there was a year old thread regarding this offer last year. As I have said before, I would be MORE than happy to pay the p&p (£2.50, I believe), but I don't wish to purchase an item for £25. If the voucher had been £10 off of £25, I wouldn't have signed up in the first place. I feel mislead and let down. I cannot see why the company did not simply remove the free p&p on the website, if it was that which was causing the problem? Unless they wish to cash in on their new popularity...

There kinda was a glitch though...with the free delivery. I totally agree with you about changing the parameters of the voucher...

Thanks Op for that site. Gorgeous stuff. :T
  • Hello...Like most comments, want to thank OP & Andrew (KotC). Beautiful stuff, supplied by an honest company! Could very easily be my new favourite website. Ordered a bracelet for my niece, but saw a load of other stuff for various people. That said, if I do not receive my order I will move on with my life...would not like to see ANY business go to the wall for the sake of an honest/over-exposed mistake x
  • I would like to order a bracelet for my sister in the £20-£40 range. A lot of the ones that I like are out of stock. I do like the silver, Garnet & pearls teardrop bracelet though and wondered if anyone had this and what they thought. If anyone got a bracelet which one did you get and what do you think of it? Hope it's ok to ask!
