So, as there seem to be actual census people on this forum, can you PLEASE explain why you do not know this vital piece of info..
Do your own research, you lazy oaf. OK I'll throw you a bone: Google is your friend.or is it, you are told to act ignorant and uninformed?..Which actually I suspect IS the case.."don't let the sheeple know anything, act stupid, act like you do not know and absolutely DO NOT get involved with any conversation regarding LM..they may be filming ya!"
Take off that tin foil hat and let in some fresh air.Hope you lot are proud of yourselves getting involved in such a pathetic job..wouldn't you rather spend your time more fruitfully? Maybe spend time with your family instead of knocking on innocent people's doors, who's only CRIME is to want to keep their person info..personal?Glad to see the gestapo is alive and kicking in 2011 in democratic GB!
Glad to have made your day!:cool:0 -

Well , i hope you're right. But i was in the same situation during the 2001 Census. Then we didn't get a weekly wage as now , but were paid on a piece work basis. We actually did about 3 weeks work , but the letter we were sent by the ONS said the Census ran from dates stretching over about 10 weeks.
When i went to make a new claim i was astonished to be told all my benefits would be stopped for 10 weeks. This would have left me out of pocket by £100's . After appeals , enlisting the help of my MP and generally weeks of hassle , i ended up coming out about even.
I swore then to never have anything to do with a Census again , and only changed my mind when i found out that this time we'd be paid on a weekly wage basis.
So i remain convinced that Job Centres throughout the country will be under orders from the highest level not to allow new claims from Census workers till after 13th May.
Sorry to hear what happened last time, I know that going through appeals can take alot of time, meanwhile your left with nothing while you wait, fingers crossed for you this time, you shouldn't have to go through that again0 -

Holiday pay and completion bonus won't be paid until 20 May. This makes sense, as they are part of the pay week of 7-13 May. So all we get on 13 May is pay for the week just finished.0 -

How do you know we do not know (if you know what I mean). So, instead of bully boy tactics and scaremongering with nonsense fines to get people to fill it in..why don't the govt offer financial incentives to fill it in? It would have saved the govt £230 MILLION..just give it to the people, then you wouldn't need to spend out even more money on bully boys knocking at your door..!
Erm... I can only speak for myself but haven't "bullied" anyone - the only time fines were mentioned was when the householder brought it up - my job was to ensure that people got their forms completed and DIDN'T get a fine. It's all a complete load of NONSENSE, all this shenanigans just to get personal info..and may I ask, exactly WHERE this info is going...especially dubious as it is run by an AMERICAN TERRORIST ORGANISATION..
Sigh... well if you get your world view from YouTube, there's not a lot I can say really.Hope you lot are proud of yourselves getting involved in such a pathetic job..wouldn't you rather spend your time more fruitfully?
Well actually I am, thanks, it has indeed been a fruitful use of my time. We have been lucky with nice weather, 99% of the people I spoke to have been perfectly pleasant and the money will be useful for my upcoming wedding.Barclaycard 0% - [STRIKE]£1688.37 [/STRIKE] Paid off 10.06.120 -
I originally volunteered to do this weekends extra hours. But was told that due to the fact that we hit our target there are no more hours available. Victims of our own success. Well that's me done for another 10 years. I kind of enjoyed it. But actually, I am glad its all over.
Have a nice life everyone0 -
