That's pretty close to fraud, then  To pay for that, and the investigation that will definitely ensue to try and discover why the conditioner is thinner than usual will cost someone. Will the company directors pay out of their own pockets  No, it'll result in higher prices for us all

OP, you'll have to fess up :D

I'll add this to the existing thread on OS disasters.

  • My mum has a story she tells me every now and then:
It was the late 70's and I was a baby. I was asleep in a carrycot in the kitchen, my mum was plucking pheasants and listening to the radio. The dog was sleeping peacefully on the floor. The terry towel nappies were strung across the kitchen to dry. The feathers from the birds were going into a basket.
    All was calm and cosy.
Then, one of the cats suddenly leapt up on the outside windowsill to come in through the open window, which caused the dog to jump up in a fright and bark, waking the baby me who started to cry, whilst also knocking over the basket of feathers which all flew up into the kitchen and started sticking onto the wet terry nappies....complete chaos!! :)

Another of her gems is the one where she used a 2 gallon banana wine recipe but only used 1 gallon of liquid (accidentally) she said when it was ready to drink it damn near blew your head off lol:beer:

And another is the time she made my brother and I a *ahem* curry - my bro and I been eating mexican flavoured stuff recently, so one day she -very experimentally- made a savoury mince and added a whole very large packet of hot curry mix to it. She gave us our plates, which looked for all the world like our normal savoury mince dinner, and we took BIG bites from this red hot stuff and both started to gag and choke with shock as well as the burning sensation! I couldnt eat mine, and I was starving too...somehow my brother ate his, but he was red and sweating and his nose and eyes were running:rotfl:

I know I have had many failures and laughable food and kitchen experiments, but I cannot for the life of me remember a single one right now:rolleyes:

  • There was the one where a friend of mine was illicitly making wine in his bedroom (whilst still living at home).

He hid the demijohn (sp?) in his wardrobe. Unfortunately, it exploded ...
  • Last night i tried to make shortbread, i used S/R flour so it expanded all over the oven and the fire alams off.
Also roast potatoes where well.... i par boiled some and put some oil in a tray, forgot about potatoes so where cooked not par boiled. I then tried to scratch the potatoes with a fork( they feel to bits) with remainig potatoes i dusted with salt and flour and put them into what i thought was hot oil but it was cold! never mind i though it will be ok. Put them in the oven which i had now turned on! and i went back after 30 mins to discover potatoe sludge. I was a little upset so OH told me to go and watch tv and he would finish the tea. He served them as mash! i was nealy sick, he knows that i don't like waste so that was he solution. Normaily these turn out great nice and crispy! Still got that oily taste in my mouth, lol
