    Scullery! Great word!

Only other people I've heard use that are my dearly missed grandparents!

My darling Mama does! So we all do (-:

lir hope all is ok. Did you blackout the same way as before, or different?

    Are you alone?

I had a friend who had some form of seizure not too long ago. Scariest thing that ever happened to him by all accounts. His dad was with him - they were diy-ing at the time. His biggest fear was what if his dad hadn't been there & rung an ambulance.

I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident for you.

I'm alone but I'm ok now. I don't know how I blacked out, I don't remember. Only other ''odd' thing is my eye is weeping.

Cats liked it, they were all over me. :) I feel perfectly fine now. I overreacted, but I'll be cautious, and DH is coming home later tonight, so I won't be a lone for long. :)

Please don't worry, I'm not sure, but history suggests I just might be indestructable ;):)

Dh remembers his first realisation he was a heterosexual male. He was in first year at school and a pretty blonde girl and he fell over in a heap in the playground and he knew then his life was all about women. Or, hopefully now, woman :)

We both say scullery. But our kitchen to be is called the Cheese Room.

eta: he can even remember the girls name, that she had blue eyes.

    That's early! :D

I was quite late getting into girls. None of them liked heavy metal eguitar.gif, so that was a bit of a put-off :)

    Hee hee.

He genuinely likes women too, as well as you know ''liking them''. He has a lot of female friends and just thinks we're all amazing creatures whether as friends or lovers or whatever. He's a funny and confusing chap.

    .

I have a similar recollection, though there was no heap in the playground, or anywhere else. At some time, probably in Year 3, the teacher put me next to the sister of the late, great, Keith Moon and I knew I was in love. Linda had the same round eyes, and wonderfully round writing to match, but the overall impression was just one of wholesome goodness and, unlike her elder brother, she was eminently sensible. Being one of the 'naughty ones,' was probably the reason I was put next to her. :o

If Linda was kind and responsible, I also befriended Mary as the looker. All I remember now are blonde curls, blue eyes and a shared interest in developing the power of flight. We leapt our way to school most mornings. I recall thinking that it would soon be March, with high winds, and that if they were stong enough, we might really take off!

Finally there was Diana, the intellectual. No leaping about for her. She was appropriately bespectacled and into books in a big way. We'd make inventions in her Dad's workshop, and sometimes have a snog there too, if we could bribe her younger brother to clear off, but we rarely could! :(

After we moved away from London I don't recall any more girls until we reached Devon. There, I was placed next to a very quiet blonde who seemed incredibly shy, so although we spent most of Year 5 together, there was no communication & certainly no friendship. In Year 6 we were streamed, so I didn't hear of her again until I was an adult, when she married a young farmer I knew. However, in the intervening years she'd apparently lost her shyness and had become the village 'bicycle.' So, although my farmer aquaintance went through with the ceremony, having found out about his beloved's exploits very late in the day,the marriage was never consumated. Things like that really did happen here! ;)

Ah! Diddy feet - DS is 2 and a half and wearing 8.5 G/H

And he finds girls just as good for hitting as boys. However it is good to have an ally when Beyonce comes on singing 'Who runs the world?' and we can shout 'Boys! Boys!' very loudly. (Although obviously they don't play Beyonce that often on Radio 3, Radio 4 nor Classic FM)

I grew up in a family where the fairer sex was in the great majority - my parents had 3 girls and a boy, and our two dogs and two cats were female to boot! At Christmas, the numbers stayed in our favour - one uncle and two grandmothers came to stay.

Now the boot's on the other foot - my grandmothers have both died, and we've been joined by Isaac, OH, and OH's brother at such events, as well as now my other uncle. And my parents' two dogs and one cat now are male as well (-:

Could you get your siblings to present a united front and have one of them be spokesperson for the whole family?

    "Dad/Mum/ whatever

You have paid taxes all these years and you are entitled to some extra money. X or Y will sort out the forms or questions for you. We just need to know a couple of things".

It might set the ball rolling if they think they are "getting some of their taxes back".

There are none as annoying as old folk, I fear. They do it partly because they want the attention, and they are in their second childhood, even if not yet mewling and puking etc. Brother in Law has decided to fess up to MIL. When she says she's cold, he says put a cardigan on. When she says she won't, he tells her that means she can't really be cold.

She's scheduled for next Thursday for a complete shoulder joint replacement.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
