Even if she didn't want that.
That sounds lovely. Though of course lir would also have to buy an ice cream van so we can eat Mr Whippy on the pedalo (sorry if I've muscled in on your day out PN).Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

even if its not my vision for Lake Cake I'd be thrilled to have clear water and the brambles gone. So thrilled I'd cope with the beath, the mr whippy van etc. DH would love it. But he wants a good, built in oven/bbq grill down there too. He's now obsessed with the idea of a swan pedalo thanks to PN's suggestion of that0

yeah. He found them. *sigh*
atm there is so much we ''need'' (in a spoilt western economy style...dishwasher, new washing machine, bathroom, heating) and an even huger list of what we want. I find it absolutey staggaring that this is ''who we are'' ATM..
Meanwhile, I'm becoming more reclusive atm. I hadn't noticed until today when I delayed stepping outside because I saw the postman's van and didn't want to say hello. (nb I do talk to people though, lol) Thinking about it it explains a lot of recent decision making. I've got to stop it, because I'm quite happy here alone and with the critters and dh at the weekends but its not very healthy or good for me long term. I've accepted an invitation for later in the month and have retreived from the bin a ticket to something I bought then decided my interest in going was less than it is.0 -

I figure the card processors must have been in meltdown as it was only half an hour before they closed the ticket sales.0 -

Yes I think it is more of a female rivalry thing.
As a mere male, I have a much lower threshold.
A bloom of blond hair over the skin is positively charming.
Legs like a monkey - perhaps not.
When did under arm hair become a no no?
There was a lot of it about in the UK in the 1950's.
Then there were the jokes about "how do you identify Al Italia 'planes..........?"
Now it seems to be acceptable to fake up everything, from toes up.
It is all nonsense - no wonder there are teenage girls with eating disorders, when they survey their perfectly serviceable bodies and compare them with an airbrushed poster.
The most important part of the anatomy takes some time to evaluate - its the brain. You want to kill us all?
For the average person in this country, they are more than ten times as likely to die in the hour before the draw takes place than they are to win the jackpot. That's if they buy 1 ticket.
Put it this way: Around 50 people die in this country every hour, which is rather less than 1 per million of the population. Your chance of choosing the winning numbers is roughly 1 in 12 million.
Is that an underestimate of the rate of dying - I've been working on a figure of 2,000 a day? (perhaps that is based on 2,000 per working day?)max paracetamol, max ibuprofen and codeine (small amount).
i'm attempting soup to see what would work.
Sorry everyone, being a right selfish cow today
Did you get a reasonable night's sleep?
Any elevated temperature?
Been to any tropical third world countries recently?
[Let us hope it is just "man flu" and it has mutated to jump the gender barrier].;)

Finally - one for the visiting Generali
Another correspondent reports on the down under property market. Would you agree?
