NHS direct will sort you out with an out of hours GP appointment or the address of a walk in centre (the ultimate benefit of living in a properly populated area). Have you taken both paracetamol and ibuprofen? Even when I have tonsillitis, the two together seem to make some difference.

A&E might not be the right place. Where does it hurt?

Look, [expletives deleted] wait until you [expletives deleted] get home and can [expletives deleted] talk to us properly! It's insulting to use us to fill in spare moments when you are bored aboard the train. Are we that unimportant to you? We're having to give you our full attention, so it's just plain rude for you the caller not to do likewise.

i'm attempting soup to see what would work.

Sweets, listen!...the least we can do is be here, NOTHING selfish in your posts at all. but we're not going to get you better. Have you called GP/NHS direct? Is your guest still there? Have they got transport to get you somewhere if that's what they say to do?
