Go for the outdoor swim if you can. If it's cooler/raining, nobody else will go, so you'll have it to yourself - and the water feels so much warmer when it's raining. Swimming in the rain is almost magical!

I used to do a lot of training in outdoor pools (up to October) - and swimming outdoors, in the rain, is the BEST way to swim!

You're so right. I have to finish this stuff although rain swimming would be really lovely, especially as it's my head swimming in stress from too many things.

I am clean now, but a mess. Was a quick shower, not a lovely bath.

Need to get my head back down and aim for yoga and a swim tomorrow.

    Dye your eyelashes?

Do people really do this? & if so, for what purpose?

I have honestly never, ever heard these words in the same sentence before.

People do, if, like me, they have white eyelashes and look like a rabbit.

Actually, I don't do it, but I probably should.

would you prefer it if we didn't? Eyelash dying is pain free, unlike, for example, waxing.

Or an epilator. I use that.

Advantage of being old, single and never going out: No need to shave anything.... or even brush your hair most days.

I'd rather write another article that might make me £300 over the next 3 years than make sure my hair looks nice.

Hmm. Not sure. I see a lot of men about who could do with a small dose of ''metrosexual'' in their personal care.
