Wouldn't the water get cold quickly with a copper bath? Copper is a great heat conductor.
They say not, due to the thickness, but I think its likely. But also, the sitting position, the faff of cleaning...again they say its easy/they are coated or something.
I quite like the wooden baths but dh hates them.I don't hate copper.

I love the second one.
where I think he is tright is that they'd look less good with wear, whereas wood normally looks better with wear these rely on their slickness I think, to look fab.
my guess is we'll probably come back to something less dramatic anyway.
I still want the amethyst bath. I'd be prepared to sit up in that one.0 -
Enough painkillers to stop a small animal and I'm still awake.
There's no more drugs left OTC so i'm tired and cranky.
Poor you.
is there alcohol in the house? once most of the drugs are out of your system I'd opt for whiskey, honey and lemon...presuming its that sort of illness.
Chicken soup, a milk pudding mmmm Spanish Cream! or jelly and icecream. These things becopme tradition for a reason.0 -
All this talk of baths. I haven't washed properly since Saturday. I really thought I'd have finished the accounts by now, but I can see another midnight beckoning. I was going to make a nice chilli with proper meat as well. Paperwork on hold, de-stink and feed my family properly I think. I'd agreed to meet a friend after school for an outdoor swim as well. The rain is here now though and the temperature has drooped.
H did well last night, I made tons of coleslaw and tabouleh on Sunday so he did the leftovers with corn on the cob and nice juicy burgers. A triumph for someone that can only cook breakfast!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Hurrah for H, (and your own preparedness!)
I had a good long bath today with a hair mask and face mask. I had planned to dye my eyelashes today but can't find the stuff. My bath is v. depressing, but the right stuff in it and a paperback of escapism and I don't care so much.

"You are currently # 1950 in the queue."
My position in the online queue for tickets at the opera. Booking opened at 10AM today. By the time I get to no.1 only the top price tickets will be available. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Could I do the job? Yes.
Could I get them to think that? Experience proves not.
The realist in me says you might need to read/write Welsh.
Mind you, not too hard:
London - Llondonwy
Bristol - Y'bristywl
Sheep* - Canolfan hammden :rotfl:
*Apologies for this. Very bad taste. Lleaving it though!0 -
Leisure centre - I just checked to be sure.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Is it the thing where you get funny pressure in your sinuses and it makes you feel a bit dizzy?Enough painkillers to stop a small animal and I'm still awake.

I think I'm going for this one - I'm a bit concerned it may only be the right length for PN tho: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280702991238?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm570.l2736%26_nkw%3D280702991238%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1lostinrates wrote: »They say not, due to the thickness, but I think its likely.
