Are they really labelling the chocolate mug as a ''chocolate teapot'' or have I misread that legend?

A child's favorite toy? the next must have birthday gift: chocolate recreations of teddies with loose heads and missing limbs. The escaping bits of fluff perfectly captured in cocoa image...

As he is an economist, you know for sure that he'll have enough hands to hold a beer and a sandwich at the same time

    Ham or Cheese.

Blimey, you'll be there all day trying to get a definative answer to that Q

Not at all. It's ham but seasonally adjusted it's cheese.

However in real (inflation adjusted) terms it's a cornish pasty.

I'm going to be in London so if anyone wants to meet up then PM me and I'll give you my mobile number. Otherwise I'll likely be back for Christmas 2012 so we could arrange something with a little more time.

Love to meet Gen (and the rest of you) but sadly, we're off to Turkey. OH is composing his best man's speech, with minimal reference to the Armenian genocide, and Attaturk's silly facial hair.

I might be up for something on Saturday 9th in the afternoon. Will have Generalissimos in tow though. They'll be ok if they can stretch their legs a bit and get a lemonade. They're a bit little for beer. They are quite unannoying as kids go.

Try Coram's Fields for the smalls?

Another question for folks (which doesn't mean I'm done with answers for the previous ones!)

Do we prefer paperback books or hardback books? I'm wondering if my personal preference for hardbacks is snobby? I'm going to buy a self published book this week, & have the option. The price difference is circa £13, but I do find hardback books nicer for some reasons. So I thought I'd ask your opinions...

Not snobby, it's a matter of taste.

I prefer paperbacks for reading books, and anything I have to lug to court. I quite like hardback for dictionaries and atlas / map books, though.

Paperbacks are easier to read, you can take them in the bath and put them in your handbag.

Couple of queries folks. Firstly, my bean flowers are all white. I thought they should be red?

Also, do potatoes have to flower?

Lots of beans have white flowers. Most spuds flower, but a few don't.

you can take them in the bath .

take THAT LJ. ;) Finally I have some support in the books in the tub issue.

LJ, I've been thinking about it, if PN and I have to try chipds with gravy I think you should try a book you are loving reading, and a warm scented bubbly bath and maybe even a candle.
