Anyone else watching the royal wedding from Monaco? She looks so totally sad. A very different vibe from Wills and Kate, where they exchanged loving glances and smiles. I hope it works out for this pair.

We rewrote the wills when we moved house. The care for the children bit needed rewriting as they were then teenagers and the parents too old to run round after them. Roped the siblings in instead, not that anyone would find that easy if the situation arose.
They have got god parents, but one lot split up and disappeared and the other lot wouldn't be ideal.

You and two infants, all the way from Oz to here? You're a braver man than I am, Gunga Din!

I can't believe you had the time to report in!
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Is Mrs Gen not with you Generali?

I posted this on the greenfingered board already, but we found another weed. I didn't see any last year and now we do. We did of course have significant ground disturbance when the back was dug up for drainage.

I'm sorry FC, but there is no life in my incubator. I think the peacocks have failed. :( Sad.

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

fc, I don't know if you're reading this or whether its one of your periods of working, but I remember seeing an article a year or so back about the Brazilians being very good at small run, niche, high quality swimwear production. I know it isn't exactly on your doorstep, but could be an option as well as an interesting back story given how blinking good at it they are and the perceived image. Also ties in with the whole Brazil/beach/Copacabana/fun/Havianas type thing. Apologies if to you I'm stating the bleeping obvious...

I just logged in after being awol and realised I forgot to quote this fab post too.

I am going to get in touch with the embassy trade bit (as better than a google) and see what's what as this is a good seed to work on.
    Thanks Viva

Now I am going to try and catch up...any baby peacocks hatched yet?

Hope you have a great day out, Sue. We all think you're amazing.

(Oh, and I hope your parents' wills specify what happens if one of your siblings predeceases them!)

They have specified in their wills in that respect thankfully....they did at least go to a solicitor to have it drawn up and he pointed out the potential pitfalls of an incomplete or unclear will.

Brilliant day out and having our own chairs worked a lot better, eldest even came up to join us later on...a real rare event.

Coming home was not fun though, took me an absolute age and was in extreme pain but I was determined not to give in..couldn't afford to anyway, had spent all my money so no taxi possible! Now home and dosed up nicely with painkillers but dreading the morning, don't think I am going to be able to move.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

PM it to people you want. There are still loonies, and there is also professional anonymity (read above). You might want to let of steam to us about work environment with out them knowing and accusing you of being indiscreet!

Dh was going to come and have a look at the pop up to tell me all about it, (we went together to see and stroke your clothes in the last place and he told lots of ''girls'' at work to buy things :rotfl:).

I have already done some deleting but I can't post 90% of it unfortunately which is a shame as some pretty good gossip sometimes. Very sad stuff too (not about us but others) which makes me more determined to set up some sort of free advisory service for less experienced designer/producers in the future (or when I am an older lady.)

The ones I have come across over the years (often govt funded type things) had very able people in them but they had very little experience on the ground or in a similar small set up so the advice often offered was very academic and didn't translate well to the situations or challenges a lot of small creative producers find themselves in or up against.

Son was on a work placement last week but will back holding the fort during daytime hours (9 - 5 ish) from Tuesday next week....then off on summer scheme for the week after , then back for final week. I know son would like to to say hi again,.

Oh that's sad........will you try again?
