Re pigeon... you could try blasting it out by playing loud/cr4p music up the chimney ... warn any neighbours first if you're adjoined, but you're probably posh and detached :P0

I'm banished to the bedroom at the moment with my laptop so mine can wrap my presents in the boxes that I bought because he isn't proficient with wrapping paper:D, ever other present, card etc gets done by me. I guess one thing you can do is call the RSPCA and ask for advice. They may even come and remove it for you

The only thing that's ever been detatched about me is my mind! Thanks tomterm, we tried the locals but they've all gone for Christmas (which seems fair enough) and this has only happened this evening. My parents have dismantled fire and put food in grate with some water, I don't think they can do much more.
