The $22 is a referral commission, the £12 was from our mate Google... one of my worst days EVER.
Net traffic to this site is very light and to several others that I visit too. Maybe its just the run up to Christmas and normal levels will be back soon. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? My ironing basket is one of those big blue bags from Ikea. Plenty of room to put loads of clothes in, then stashes away really small when not in use. I do like the idea of having an ironing basket, just not the idea of finding a cupboard to keep it in.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I have to admit to being a little 'nursed' out having spent the last 4 days (and more particularly nights) ministering to DD1 and then 2 who have had the local lurgy which seems to consist of high temperature plus stomach ache with a run-off of cough, cold and aches...
...however as it s you I am sure I could make an exception and bring round a bit of TLC.
Anyone else had enough of the snow and cold? We had a covering on Thursday and about 5 inches by Saturday afternoon and Sat and Sunday evening we drove the local roads which were white and beautiful and really showed off the Christmas lights but since then we have had a gradual thaw leaving the roads and pavements mucky but still just as treacherous and basically it is still so cold outside you don't really want to go out (PN was going to go to the local 24 hour mega-sainsburys at 1AM last night to get stocking fillers etc without the kids, but at -5 and a cold wind and dodgy roads to contend with I just couldn't be bothered). I think I prefer the normal UK snow followed by mild and all gone in 2 days to this old snow hanging about weather.i have a @%@$£%^%£&$* coldI think....0 -
i have a @%@$£%^%£&$* cold
I have @%$£&" eczema. I think its down to being out a lot in the cold. Never get it as a rule.
Lots of colds and flu going round too. Hopefully its just a cold and you can dose yourself up. I swear by sugar free high juice blackcurrant squash to stave off colds. It may be a placebo effect, but works for me! Lots of people I know swear by First Defence too, if you can get in early enough. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Yes! I've totally had enough. Snow and ungritted hills are not a good combo. DH has managed to get to work at Heathrow, but he's been going to the motorway the long way round which addds about 5 miles to the journey each way.
That mega Sainsburys - I'll be going there between Christmas and the New Year to see what sale bargains they have there and at the big M&S next door. Not planning to go at 1am though! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? we use one of those as a log bag, take it out each time I remember when going out, fill it, bring it in. They also make excellent grocery bags for strong people using a bus. DH likes them because he can get a whole shop in one bag and leave his hands free. I of course can't lift it anywhere when full of dense groceries! They are probably the best thing IKEA sells, ours is always useful for something0 -
The craziest use we have for an Ikea bag is as a hoist attachment. When we moved to new house we had a lot of stuff to put in storage, so we boarded and reinforced loft and installed one of those winches that lift car engines in and out into the eaves (cost about £45). So now we just winch boxes up and down in a big blue Ikea bag! It takes everything, Christmas decorations, fans that we only use in Summer, paperwork from my company that I need to keep but don't need day to day access to. Much safer than tottering up and down a loft ladder with your hands full. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I think I've made enough mince pies now. I hope I have!0 -
Ham is baking now. The ham dough crust is a huge feature of christmas in my family. Though its technically a waste product imo its the yummiest thing in the kitchen all christmas.:)0

On cold drugs, and we have just been whoopsie shopping in Tesco. OH insists this is a christmas tradition, but i don't complain as we now have a £2.93 duck for dinner0
