According to my car, I have 20 miles range left:eek:. As it is German and they built in a margin of error for dumb Brits like me, I know from experience I can get an extra 30 on top of that before I start walking:o. I filled up the other day, before doing one of my expeditions for simple items .... but I've done about 150 miles since then so I've now got about 400-450 miles left in it0 -
Ouch. That's a little silly.
Have cold, again. This is getting tedious.
Well, I hope everyones christmas is great, even if we are all coughing like parrots.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Oh - forgot to mention.... no snow, it's not cold here at all. Been out today and just had a cardigan (no jacket/coat).... warm as toast it was, sun was shining. Tonight's supposed to get super-cold, according to the weatherman, but tomorrow it'll be warm again. Probably have a walk on the beach in the morning.

I've only got to drive 4 miles in the next two days tomterm. Plus if I do need to go somewhere in an emergency I can take DH's. I want to go to where petrol is 4p a litre cheaper and I won't get there until after Christmas. There is a method in my madness, honest! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? My parents are stressed at the moment because they have a pidgeon stuck in their chimney. Have tried all internet remedies (shining torch, putting food down etc) to no avail. Any other ideas that don't involve lighting fires or shooting guns? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Oh... I didn't see your post, before I posted... I meant it was silly for all the petrol stations to shut so long.
Pasturesnew, I really hope things go well for you and your parents over the next year. Nothing I can say really, except best wishes.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
