We're quite lucky and can choose from multiple denominations within a 10 minute walk.

I've started looking at the mulberry sale and realise i really really want a bayswater bag. be damned if I'll ever pay £750 for a bag though.

Thanks tomterm, we tried the locals but they've all gone for Christmas (which seems fair enough) and this has only happened this evening. My parents have dismantled fire and put food in grate with some water, I don't think they can do much more. I just fear them waking up tomorrow morning to a loose bird and a living room covered in pidgeon poop.

They could deliver it to me. That's an exotic lunch :)

Thank you for the very kind thoughts and the giggles all. I think I've sort of known some of you longer than some of my real friends!

I made it downstairs to the sofa with a duvet. Thank heavens I'd done the alcohol shop weeks ago, so made him break out a bottle of champers and I couldn't care less anymore. It goes great with Day Nurse :o

But he went out at about 8.30pm and came back with a bag of sprouts and some Paxo! Amazing what you can get in the local Spar - and I'd forgiven him after reading your posts and remembering that I did see the brussel sprout issue on BBC Breakfast. I do have some random, slightly bendy veg in the fridge and peas in the freezer. H's sister has also offered to bring spare veg or indeed a full Xmas dinner delivery' to us tomorrow so we'll get fed, bless her. He can't really cook anyway so it's going to be fun with or without sprouts!

Missing Midnight Mass as well Miss Kool and I'm very sorry as I've been waiting 10 years - now I thought the kids were old enough we were going to go this year!

Don't have to worry about petrol though! MiniDoozer has been under a special blanket of snow for a whole week now. Being ill has some blessings - a flat tummy and no expensive petrol :o

Still have half the kids presents to wrap though!

Blimey, think I must be tired...the amount of spelling mistakes in my post!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Ah, Doozer, you're back. Please tell me you didn't go to Asda in your jammies.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

The people of "Stepford" are safe of that vison; Be assured. Your post did make me laugh out loud. It would have happened if it was still open by the time I'd have moved the snow off the car.

Plus I can't let anyone see me in my jammies. I'm quite tall and my jammies are for normal people. They calf-swing more than ankle-swing. :o

:santa2: Hi everybody...hope you are all well (even though I just read the last few posts and evryone has flu?

I have been AWOL for a while as work just went mental and I have had to concentrate like mad as we are both doing the jobs of 4 people each right now.

Thanks to PN too as I got all my hosting whatsits sorted out and have got Govt funding (oh yes!) for our new website/project manging IT thingy)

I do miss chatting to you all late at night but my evenings are just a contstant stream of e-mails (mostly from US late at night) and they do like an instant answer.:D

I have got lot's of non MSE gossip though....like we moved into our new studio last week and it is Amaaay-zing....and so so cheap too. Snag is I spend too long looking at the boats and views and have to snap myself back into gear and stay on the treadmill.

What have I missed (apart from you guys of course)?

Thanks for the welcome :D I am actuallery quite pleased with myself for going cold turkey on here......I had to stop the procrastinating as I would log in, read something bizarre as a way of tripping my brain away from the job in hand......and I have need to be super positive and upbeat too and sometimes this board is like a totally different world. 0-0

Other thing is we have been offerred to supply the UK's largest retailer (only on a niche level of course) and there are big plusses (like £££) but also minusses (like the feeling of selling your soul and losing our hard fought for brand integrity).......we can't decide what to do if I am honest. I mean we are with a big one now anyway but it's different.
