Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Hapy Christmas to all my friends, there is discussion on the hyoerinflation thread about real life vs second life so I am a bit nervous about saying friends but we do all seem to rub along ok and I just take everyone at face value (no imagination?).Unfortunately because of the wedding, I didn't get out to do my traditional pick up the bargains before closing time at Morrisons and I still have about 100 mince pies to make before the morning..think I may need to dose up on the painkillers as my back is one never ending spasm now.
Tried Morrisons at 5 and saw 1 half price turkey which we didn't need and nothing else marked down so you didn't miss much.lostinrates wrote: »I've decided not to go either. Its not the end of the world for me.
1. I'm lapsed.
2. I was going to go i our village, a different denomination
I think its really important to support rural communities and church is a part of that, but I also think not giving everyone you are meeting for the first time a cold is part of that too.
DH is not catching mine though. I'm relieved for him but a bit confused.
Did crib service this afternoon, have not done MM since the kids.:santa2: Hi everybody...hope you are all well (even though I just read the last few posts and evryone has flu?
I have been AWOL for a while as work just went mental and I have had to concentrate like mad as we are both doing the jobs of 4 people each right now.
I have got lot's of non MSE gossip though....like we moved into our new studio last week and it is Amaaay-zing....and so so cheap too. Snag is I spend too long looking at the boats and views and have to snap myself back into gear and stay on the treadmill.
What have I missed (apart from you guys of course)?
We are missing CarolT who has gone awol (shortly after Generali launched a personal attack).
Kids are now much better from 'flu' but DW is in major ache and pain plus cough despite paracetemol and she won't take ibuprofen as well as she is still breast-feeding and I think I am about 6-12 hours behind her so doing family xmas with 3 small kids tomorrow whilst feeling like dying may be a bit of a chore - I am just wondering whether we should cut our losses and cook xmas dinner on boxing day or whenever we feel better - how long ill a defrosted goose last in the fridge?
Talking of food expiry our finset Waitrose pud claims to be best before Apr 10 - what do people think, eat it or bin it?
Finally I suspect there s a good chance I will be doing a max headroom in the new year so if you do need any (non-creative) help FC...I think....0 -
Merry Christmas everyone!
And a huge welcome back to FC....we have really missed your input.
Right, mince pies made, my back is eek, wedding photo's uploaded and I still have some presents to wrap......I'm bloody knackered! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I'll wrap the presents in the morning.... it's a group effort so we had to "show and compare" and I seem to have been left with the lot to wrap
I'll do those after I've prepped the veggies and laid the table.0
