Just found the first floorplan I could of some new builds.

    Bedroom 1: 10'3"x9'10"
    Bedroom 2: 12'7"x9'8"

These do seem bigger than I'm used to seeing, I'll see if I can find smaller.

As a rule, I never look at new builds, or the sizes of them.

Just looked at a brand new park home, that one is 10'6"x8'4"

    Random finds of new builds:

    10'4"x10'1" http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/new-homes/property-17383437.html
    11'1"x9'10" http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/new-homes/property-27545254.html

    Most don't give any measurements.

For older places, this one I was looking at earlier has 2 bedrooms. 9'x7' and 9'x6' http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-18399531.html

    Alternative Vote Referendum

Why are the Conservatives so against AV? Is this because they think they'll lose out?

I'm fairly against AV, too. Seems unnecessarily complicated to me.

The path had progressed about 2/3 of the way across the estimated pond area when we sold. I don't suppose I shall ever finish it now.:(
I do have a nice little collection of Victorian inks & jars though. :)

My parents' vegetable patch in their old Kent house had been a Victorian rubbish dump, and over the years we amassed a collection of small glass bottles, clay pipes, shells from dinners, and so forth. Great fun.

AV allows Labs and Libs to gang up on the cons, whilst allowing the lab and lib supporters to vote first for their party of choice. I can't think of a simpler system that allows that.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I am 58, so I'm one of the oldest here. I think Davesnave is a couple of years older than me. Do I beat you PN?

I'm 33, so as old as my tongue, and a little older than my teeth.

There were never going to be any winners with the age thing - I'm not sure nice people discuss Ladies' ages?

My room in my parents' house from when I was about 15 was vast - an attic conversion with windows only a one end, so it could only be one room. It measures about 14 feet x 30 feet.

Sorry to hear of her loss. Sometimes an advantage of short notice funeral's is that the "should we go/ could we go" decision is made for you, rather than spend days deliberating the matter.

Jewish funerals are quick - ASAP, and by sunset the day after the death at the latest.

Zara went in while you were bathing. She looked nice, but not stunning. I didn't like Eugenie's outfit, which was probably the worst of the royal party. Beatrice looked lovely though.

Both Beatrice and Eugenie are astonishingly ugly, don't you think? All huge noses and prominent jaws.
