Doozer - thanks everso for the link - I've really liked having a look round that website.
I HAVE to go see this: http://www.broadwaytower.co.uk/
This looks awesome! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Am I doing something wrong? I don't see a list of 50 places. I do see a list of 6 or 7, but that ain't what the headline says...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Those 50 are probably spread among the different categories
The 50 Best Picnic Spots - Coastal
The 50 Best Picnic Spots - Urban
The 50 Best Picnic Spots - Romantic
The 50 Best Picnic Spots - Rural
The 50 Best Picnic Spots - Attractions
with around 10-ish per category? :easter_os0 -

I was in a shop yesterday trying to buy a spray tin of stuff and the assistant handed me the can and said "There, read it and see if it's what you want" and I had to say "Sorry, I can't read that, it's too small, can you read it for me" and I was SURE she felt I couldn't read at all
I sympathise with you. My normal glasses are varifocals, but I use single vision distance glasses for driving. If I forget to change over when we get out of the car, I'm effectively illiterate apart from really quite large print. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Exciting news on the home front. The 6y/o Generalissimo has been at tennis camp all week and won (I think) his age group award. I'm a very pround Generali and he's a very chuffed Generalissimo.0

Snap on the beach thing.
On the car front our Multipla has 6 proper adult seats - just a shame it is not more reliable...Deprived of beaches here.
Doubly deprived because I grew up less than a mile from beautiful beaches and took them for granted.
Treditional picnic out with family friends at the weekend and the younger kids (their one and ours) have decided to join us. In years gone by both sets of kids came with, then the older ones did their own thing and then it was just the adults. Now the 17 year olds think it would be acceptable to join us. So need to find somewhere suitable that is near. 6 adult size people means two cars, so really can't be far as we won't be together until we get to location.

Owing to boredom, I've had a wee scoot around the rest of the forum. To be honest, I only relly pop here. I do also gander at 1 or 2 threads on greenfingered, but other than that, none of it interests me. I have no debt, nor a mortgage, so those boards are out. No interest in stoozing, don't think I need pensions advice, savings I have but there is nothing whatsoever on offer, & so on.
Jeez was it boring. I had a look on the house buying board. Jeez, what on earth is the point? Some right wierdo's on there. & less facts or honesty than this board. Sheesh! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Today was the old's appointment, all I've managed to find out is "incurable" and it's kidneys/lungs. Maybe more info will be drip-fed over the coming weeks.0

OK. Firstly, are you alright?
The parent who isn't ill is going to need some emotional support PN. You have at least one sibling: are they at the end of the phone/there for your parents/you?0 -
