    Weird dream though.

Yes, a bit weird. I won't attempt to psychoanalyse you, but you seem to be an outsider in your own dream.

I sometimes really enjoy my dreams, especially if I'm just on the verge of waking up. They beat the cinema, and of course money-saving, too. I once dreamt that I could write brilliant plays in blank verse. I didn't have to struggle to make it scan. It just flowed out. Sadly, I woke up, and ...

That's such a bloke thing! What have we married? I love mine dearly and know you do yours too, but the way 'man brains' work is at times a mystery to me.

ETA: highly recommend film to anyone who hasn't watched it. It is a cinematographic delight and beautifully acted.
I think men feel the same about us. Some of dh's processes are very simple...food means eat(..even if its gross sounding. I still remind dh about the horror that was olive oil icecream...I told him to just have pistachio or chocolate or something), water means swim/boat/paddle..whatever the weather. Hole means stick to see how deep hole is. Animal means bring it home. New thing means buy a book on it. :D

Not sure I'm that different actually:o but I smile less:o

I'm encouraging him to see about lazer before his eyes are too far gone to be eligible.

I'm working on the basis that I won't seek laser eye treatment until

    X= Y + 10

    Where:

X is the time since laser treatment has been widely used and tested on the whole population

Y is my future life expectancy

The 10 is just because I'm cautious. Besides, I'm bound to live longer or shorter than my average life expectancy.

I think the thing for us is DH probably won't have that time and he doesn't yet know if he's eligible so needs to be assessed to see if it is a choice or not. I understand you can only have laser if your eye condition is suitable and if the prescription is less then minus ten and stable for a year? well, not sure that he'll get that, because just gone to -6.75 from -5.75 in this prescription. His father is partially sighted, and its reasonably likely dh will be. His main concern is whether he'll be a allowed to name a guide dog if he funds its training. (At the moment he favours the name ''Matic'')

I did it;it hurt but I think that's because I read 'no make-up' but still put face cream on. I think it leaked in when my eyes watered and it went on from there. But the final result was great and is still great 6 years later. I promised I would never take it for granted but I did almost immediately.

Ah, I'm really sorry, as I hadn't realised that he has a major problem with his sight. So, I think your position is wholly different from mine. I just sigh a bit when I come in from the cold and my glasses steam up, that sort of thing.

Incidentally, I'm very astigmatic, and during my last sight test the optician turned to me and said "you've got a huge cylinder". How could she know that? She'd only tested my eyesight.

Nothing to be sorry for :) Together DH and I might add up to a whole person as we age ;) He has a screen for skin cancer tomorrow before his light treatment for psoriasis starts.....stress, I'm sure that's office stress.

Actually, his sight is still just ''normally bad'' and hopefully will stay like that, but I'm a firm believer in seeing what the choice is. If its ruled out forget it and move on, of not, leave it on the table till you are ready to choose. ATM he can't do that because he doesn't know if its a choice, so instead he goes round choosing dogs' names. (I keep telling him I don't think he has a choice and we just have to have an unfortunately named creature like (nice for a person but not dogs)''Sadie'', ''Julie'' or ''Kim'' or just make it clear to the poor thing clear its not one of us with a name like''whiskers'' or ''lucky''. A I mean, can you imagine how a ''lucky''would fit in here with mauve squeaker and pink-whistley-mr-ling-woo-yakamoto-san. Poor ''Lucky'' would feel like a Frenchman in New Zealand.

Doozer, a friend of ours has started to have deterioration in vision again, but not as badly, are yours still perfect?

Love that dream, mine are rarely that interesting. They often feature Gordon Ramsay for some reason :o

Glad to hear about the loo!

I've made a website. It has bare-ish bones, some pictures, not a lot of words. Looks quite pretty. I'm not very good at blowing my own trumpet so I'm really struggling with what to say and my head is already spinning with making photographs fit. If I type the company name into Google it does come up though obviously I need it to come up even when people aren't looking for us. I deleted the contact details until it looks a bit more sensible as I've written words like 'stuff' on it :o I have some sort of ideas, would like the 'about us' to be a bit more of a story than a corporate spiel perhaps. Everything's a bit disjointed in my head - not unusual for me!

And I need a strapline for us. Lynzpower suggested 'building stuff since yesterday' which made me giggle.
If you need any feedback, let us know.

    Straplines:

    - Painted by Doozer, Aged 8½

Google firms in other parts of the country for clues/ideas. Might be somebody 400 miles away using something great :)
