You are telling me! Just because I am a bit OCD, I have given the loo an extra spring clean so it is nice and ultra clean for when they fix it (think the cleaning ladies that are on telly on speed and you have got what I have been doing), I have even washed down all the walls, the window and even the door (both sides)...although I didn't go as far as getting a toothbrush out to do it with.

Now paying for it as I can barely move and there is still the rest of the (normal) housework to do, so taking a wee breather, taken my anti inflammatories/painkillers and settling down with a cup of tea and the laptop to see if that improves things.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Been away a little bit. Have read the main page of mse forum & it appears I haven't missed much there at least. Slightly suprised to see this thread hasn't moved on as much as I expected with over a weeks absence!

    Congrats to mrskool :)

Nice one LydiaJ with the progress you are making with the humble abode:)

I hate facefook with a passion, & will not be opening an account.

Daffs are poking through here, & a tree I planted 2 years ago has had buds on for a while now. Need to start thinking about what produce I'd like to grow this year pretty soon.

    I missed fc123 again!:(

Very happy to see pobby is posting again. Always nice to see a person who talks sense!:) Hoping you are well & recovered!:)

Jerry Sadowitz was hilarious - would definitely see him again.

I also went to see the excellent Mogwai http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mogwai live. Mogwai's first album has been, since I first heard it, one of my favourite albums ever. They are an acquired taste, but so am I probably...:o

Some of the plastic cisterns have screws in the side or top holding the lid on. Ceramic cisterns don't need that as the lids are heavier.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    My loo flushes again!

Man who can arrived after I had left for the school run but luckily eldest was at home to supervise. I can't tell you exactly what was wrong because eldest's explanation went as follows "he took the lid off the big box thing, fiddled, put lots of bits in and then screwed the big box thing lid back on"

Next is the gas safety check tomorrow......and argh begger, just remembered I didn't pick up my prescription and I ran out of tablets last night!
