Maybe it wasn't a needle he wanted to inject you with lir;). Sorry, poor taste. Actually that'd be the way I'd like to go. Fit as a fiddle up until the very last minute. There may be something to be said for those injections after all. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Yesterday's stats showed very little change in page views... but significantly less CTR and EPC; this resulted in a 50% income drop.
Too little data to really be meaningful. I'll see what happens. Got other stuff on the go anyway ... and not in a position to write anything at the moment on knol. I need my own space to be able to do anything as the mental interference levels here are exceedingly high and I can't get the basics around me that I need (stuff/things laid out how/where I need them to be and ability to move about freely).
Take one example, I just decided I'd like to get some seaweed from the beach and dry it on the line for some experiments.... didn't dare go out as it'd involve far too many questions, a lot of mucking/ridicule and general interruption of the will to live/enthusiasm/creative thought. So I sat and ate a cheesecake instead.0 -
Well, we are having fun at the moment....our toilet won't flush!
It was reported yesterday to the housing association and they will have someone come out tomorrow (fingers crossed) to fix it but with only one toilet in the house, two of the boys 'speshulness' and my arthritic hands making carrying buckets of water interesting to say the least, it has been great fun!
I think I have put more water on my feet than down the loo...but at least I have nice clean feet :rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Sue, could you fill your bath with water and use that to chuck down toilet? Get everyone to go before they have showers and baths in the morning? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Our toilet and bathroom are seperate and it is the carrying of the bucket between the two which has been causing the problem..we currently fill the bucket in the bath and then walk it between the two rooms.
Mind you, youngest has decided it is great fun and will put water down the loo without going! He always did like water that one........We made it! Don't tell me, the basin is in the same room as the bath.... I was also going to suggest trying a hose and syphoning, but when there are water loving kids and two separate rooms involved, that can only lead to one place: a very expensive insurance claim! I'll shut up now. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Yep, the basin is in the same room as the bath!
I always thought that was a plus.....until the toilet stopped flushing. We made it! One simple reason it doesn't flush is that the handle has come loose from the flushing mechanism. You can probably do a quick fix that will get you going until the maintenance men arrive. Tell me, is the handle all floppy, sort of hanging down?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
That sounds a bit of a nightmare Sue. Hope it's fixed soon.
I am finally more or less better from my cold, having spent from Wed lunchtime until Sunday morning in bed, and most of today just pottering about taking it easy. It was just a cold, not flu, but because I was so So I will be going back to work tomorrow having spent all of half term either moving or ill in bed, and not having done any unpacking. The plus points are that I still love the house, and the kids have been better than I expected about looking after me and/or leaving me alone to sleep.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
