I remember that comment too lir, but can't find it either.
I've just sent a complaint to Sainsbury's. I went shopping at my local store last night and they left me queuing with three full trolleys in front of me while there were 17 empty checkouts. This is at 7.30pm on a busy Thursday - 5 standard checkouts open. If it wasn't for the fact I needed the shopping I'd have left my trolley and walked out. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I tend to ask for a new checkout to be opened if I can't start putting my stuff on a belt straight away and if they don't oblige I let the kids out of the trolley to start rearranging all the till displays in their own unique way...

Hubpages is only getting 31% of its traffic today from search engines, whereas normally it would get 80% or so of its traffic from search engines.
As far as I can see, huge numbers of pages that used to be the first thing you saw in google aren't even on the first page.
This has happened over night.
This sort of thing was picked up on another forum I frequent, they noticed that things they used to search for via google and would be on the first page, no longer appeared on the 1st page but more than likely, on the 5th or 6th page.
Just checked my site, it is still on the first page......and still the very first one on the list (the second one too and mentioned on the third!) out of 922,000 results. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Nearly lived in the village where the Middletons live. This was the 70s. We had a house but had family near there and is very nice. Phoned up the vendor, it was £17k, however with wages going up it was very affordable.
Howevr, as the house was part timber built we would need a 50% deposit. Not doable at the time. Oh well, won`t be a brides maid.0 -
Some bloke talking about the new algorithm, it's being rolled out in the US first. My main site's a UK one, so I might get hit on that next week

I've just spent the last hour mulling it over .... and I decided I'm doomed. Dooooooomed. Google's going to kick my 4rse next week.
I'll be lucky to crawl out of the fight alive with £1/day.
*braced and ready for the 4rse kicking*
On the plus side, it's coming up to summer, so I can spend time at the beach and out and about in rockpools.0 -

In commercial terms, retail is the most expensive, and can run to several £000s per sq ft, especially in prime areas. This is followed by offices. Here the most expensive space is in London and again will be over £100 per sq ft in London for the best areas, but in most towns the best space will be around the £20s to £30s. Some places you can get cheap offices for £6-10 per sq ft, but no new ones will be developed as the value isn't in it for the developer. Industrial space tends to be cheaper than offices (unless very high tech). The difficulty will be getting something for £3 per sq ft that is only 100 sq ft and not 20,000 sq ft or available for subletting. That's where the small companies will have trouble.
I had forgotton about size as we are 2750 sq ft.
Now I have read down the thread.....hopefully the new place will be good PN. My friend in Dorset had a huge storage/workspace behind her shop that she didn't need so she let the space out (informally) to market traders to store their bits through the week...I think it covered all her rent in the end. She uses it herself now but I was thinking maybe something like that.PasturesNew wrote: »On an upbeat note..... there is a slim chance I might be living somewhere different by this time next week. LIR :rotfl::rotfl:Your dogs sound smart.....but are you there alone in the week or have near neighbours you could call if a prob occurs?
And as I don't understand the knols and hubs and things......could be making things is the way forward for a while?0
