Ah yes, some discussion about rich people having some benefits taken away - and she's one of them, so was a bit miffed. It was Generali, I believe ... and he used me as an example as somebody poor who is paying into beneifts -v- somebody rich (her) that's taking it out.
I kept my head down0 -
Being made an example of by the Big G...
Allegedly she is back on the forum but not this bit with a new name and some discussion about having an account hacked?
But more important is having Pobby back and posting again. :beer:PasturesNew wrote: »Ah yes, some discussion about rich people having some benefits taken away - and she's one of them, so was a bit miffed. I'll be lucky to crawl out of the fight alive with £1/day.

On the plus side, it's coming up to summer, so I can spend time at the beach and out and about in rockpools.
I've never seen your site, but it is a forum IIRC. And this algorithm change is really benefiting forums strongly in the united states. Remember, for every site that loses out in this, there will be a site that benefits.
This change has not been rolled out past google.com yet.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

My friend in Dorset had a huge storage/workspace behind her shop that she didn't need so she let the space out (informally) to market traders to store their bits through the week.
There's an informal arrangement in our village where the Spar stores much of its stock in a building across the road. All the stock is wheeled across in a shopping trolley, but the Spar itself is far too small to use trolleys. Imagine my surprise, therefore, when we arrived here, seeing a woman pushing an empty shopping trolley across the road, virtually every other time we passed through. It was like the opening sequence of Acorn Antiques....
LIR :rotfl::rotfl:Your dogs sound smart.....but are you there alone in the week or have near neighbours you could call if a prob occurs?0 -
Pasturesnew... have a look at this http://www.sistrix.com/blog/985-google-farmer-update-quest-for-quality.html .“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I notice the majority of those commenting are in favour - I remarked when you and PN started discussing SEO that when you do a search all the top results are for 'info-mercial' pages. Not that I want to see life made harder for either of you.I think....0

Er... the people who read that blog aren't normal people, the people who read that blog are webmasters, and for a lot of webmasters, these sites were crowding out their own content. Pretty much anyone who has a content site outside of these shared sites have just had a boost as a result.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I tend to ask for a new checkout to be opened if I can't start putting my stuff on a belt straight away and if they don't oblige I let the kids out of the trolley to start rearranging all the till displays in their own unique way...
Ah, those were the days - when the kids urgently needed to pee (or more!). "Oh no, sir, we only have toilets for the staff." And my reply: "Which corner of the shop would you like them to use? Or just here, where they are?" And, off they went to the staff loos. Worked every time. :cool:No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
