Not too bad here thanks FC, just doing my normal and being accident prone (burnt my hand and arm the Sunday before last and then fell down the stairs the weekend just gone!) but nothing too bad.

Oh - my pc gave up the ghost but my lovely parents treated me to a new laptop..although I think them treating me to it had more to do with me continually going round theirs to borrow their one...their tea bag and milk bill increased by a huge amount.:rotfl:

Apart from that.....it has been most boringly normal.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Me too. But not quite enough to actually open one. Seems like I spend enough time on the computer without adding to it.

Facebook is ok as long you don't get into all that other stuff that goes on there. I tend to use it as a business tool (for my website) and a way to keep in touch with some rellies over in Australia....very very handy a few weeks back when they had the cyclone as my cousin was posting updates on their wellbeing and safety (they live just down a little from Cairns).

Due to my name being linked to my website, it gives me the perfect excuse not to get involved with things.......a bad reflection on me is a bad reflection on my site, so it pretty much stays on a less than personal basis than others who use it.

re kids' books, our conversation of a couple of days ago, I was in t'supermarket and browsing the bookshelves and huffing with disappointment when I decided to look at the kids ones. OMG at the number of Twilight spinoffs....nothing for ''big kids'' was not supernatural/sci fi in some way.

Brought home a couple and two last night...and was actually quite impressed. Matched was the kind of thing I would have really enjoyed as a teen and The Left Hand of God was very readable....looking forward to the rest of that trilogy in fact. Though.....a surprising amount of (not in detail) sex for teens from an author who was on the film censorship board thingy!

eta: also suripised at how common it is for books to have little film trailers now!
