    I've been Money Tipped!
Lydiaj, how exciting...new house, new paint...it will help get rid of that ''dusty feeling'' even stuff you've just cleaned seems to bring on moving. I love the bright colours (especially the green)and I think your little girl has had a lot of fun with her walls. :)

Just had a second viewing. Coped with it by necking half a bottle of Cordoniu :o

Coping with post-viewing nerves by sending H out for more. It never really gets any better. They've already made an offer so it's a case of whether we now meet an agreement or whether H scared them off for good with photos of bare brickwork and mossy walls!

EDIT: Looking good, Lydia! Is your first night at home tomorrow?

Nice one missk! Didn't see that coming. Not even a little bit.

Yay! Congratulations misskool. Hope you had a lovely day yesterday and have lots & lots more lovely days to come.

PS We are in but I can't type much because only have my phone - no idea which box the broadband router is in!
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I've been 'absent' as I've been immersing myself in reading stuff about my new interest.... until about 6am each morning. I have watched about 1.5GB of youtube videos, read (well skimmed mostly) about 500 PDF pages and generally researched/read.

Today was a gloriously sunny day, so I went to the beach for some beachcombing and treasure hunting. It was really on the verge of "hot". Even took my cardigan off - and I was wearing sockless crocs and short trousers.

Beaches are lovely, you can forget everything when you're beach combing.... except the incoming tide of course.

I am seriously struggling to find things I need down here though, to practise stuff with. Just trying to find some copper wire's proving impossible. Hardware shops don't have it. And I want to see/touch it to buy it, not buy stuff online only to find out it's not what I wanted when it turns up.

I saw a drill I am intending buying on Thursday, so that's under investigation for when I have space to drill.

It all sounds great PN....and a drill sounds exciting :D...is it a mini one? I read your other posts about it and wanted to respond back then. Got any more pics of products to post up ?
I've never been to a theatre.

When I've been to a cinema you buy a ticket, walk up to the door, bloke rips the ticket in half and opens the door - you then sit where you want.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: If you ever come back to London, i'll take you to Billy Elliot. Great mainstream show.

I'll be doing that at the end of this week. It's the village Panto, and I know all the corny lines, 'cos the producer emailed me the script by mistake. :rotfl:

    I like am-dram. Anything can happen. :)
Am dram...my good friend does it and it's... ummmm....very am dram....all singing usually. When I lived in Brighton, easy to not go (as in a suburban London theatre) and prior to that, there was always a baby sitting issue.....but now, what do I say? I went to the last one in Jan @ £12 per ticket 0-0 to support her. Don't mind 3 times a year but she does a show every 6 weeks it seems.

Desp to go see Black Swan...anyone seen it?

    The house looks great LJ.:D

My news is life just got more mental...but I have found some lovely staff. The benefit will kick in after a month once they are all zenned up.
Ironically, one took vol redun from the council to come to us she is 28 and had been with the council for 9 years..our new P/T admin asst......she's a real bright spark but did say after her first week...''gosh, you guys are full on, you never stop'' though she was well prepped to how a small private fashion company runs (manically) by us prior to starting.
Getting a PA/production/ design asst for me too...interviewing on friday.

We did our trade show and I updated our FB.....and have just got a load more stockists incl a major UK dept store (a nice one) ....pretty scary stuff if I am honest.
Hope all well with everyone :)...posted on the other side to mrs Kool too.

    Wahoo, excellent news Misskool!

FC, your facebook page has been keeping me well and truely up to date with your business going ons.....I keep getting alerts! Handy though as I can be a tad lazy at looking at what people are up to and just having it there on the odd occasions I go on facebook saves me the hassle of pressing too many buttons.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

DD does it mostly and we try to only do about 2 a week so it doesn't clog up peoples feeds.....I know that I 'unlike' some as they post same old same old several times a day.

Getting a blog going in the next few weeks too..going to be run by a freelance journo who will do it as a project on our behalf. I would love to do it myself but my writing style is not right plus I am OCD with production and would end up blogging about how 370 units of the key style this month this month turned up from factory last week and it looked like the hems had been finished with a combine harvester.
So, all the deliveries booked (to seriously 'posh' shops) had to be cancelled....which is A Very Bad Thing.
In fact, the factories will one day, turn me into a mad crazy woman for sure.
I am seeing a manufacturing agent tomo am who makes jersey for companies like Ted Baker in Turkey. Not massively cheaper than UK but way better finish/quality for the price point.
See...I can't write my blog cos it would read as above and the customer doesn't want to know about all that stuff.:o

Hope all is well with you too SS?
