And the violence. And the failure to provide education. I applaud you for breaking that cycle for your daughter.
They really aren't bad people LIR. There is so much laughter, so much support, so much safety. There are worse ways to live.
The brat I take no credit for, she happened entirely by accident. I was concentrating on putting a fiver in the leccy and entirely forgot to tell her to leave school to wash the doulton ladies. Even totally broke we managed to have two.
She went to Holy Communion dressed like Belle, you couldnt make it fu cking up. I had run away from home, was knocking off a Queens Counsel on the side and still sent my daughter out looking like a disney cartoon
The only thing in my favour was whenever she mentioned marriage I said think about your father.Retail is the only therapy that works0 -

As I said yesterday, when they said about how important holy communion is to travellers I couldn't relate to that at all. My nan didn't have communion. She read the tea leaves !!!!!! and was much more into superstition and ritual which is definitely the Rom way.
Well they lump us up and they churn us out
Your lot and mine are entirely different but it is like asking an American to differentiate between Geordies and Londoners. All England to the Yank.
It may matter to you and slightly less to me but it doesn't really matter at all.
The Rom, at least in the UK, are no better than Irish tinkers.
Frankly I would move:rotfl:Retail is the only therapy that works0 -

In the library I occasionally have visitors sounding off about travellers. It winds me up so I say to them that I have traveller roots. They then tell me that it's not my type of traveller that they have a problem with and then dig themselves bigger and bigger holes. I can't move. I'd miss watching them squirm too much. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

We aren't alike Viva, you are Rom with centuries of tradition behind you
I am black Irish who when my husbands family came to murder me was only scared they would get past the front door of my rented accomodation and see the filth we were living in. Three days of neat bleach couldn't clean itRetail is the only therapy that works0 -
wageslave you have to write that book. Please, you've left us wanting more.
On a totally different subject and aimed at the gardening nice people, just had a Lidl e-mail through and starting Thursday they are starting offers on plants, including veg seeds at 49p per pack. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? It is more or less written
I gave it to my Mother and she didnt react positively
Since then I have had every relative imaginable at my door
The only one who has been positive about it is the brat. But she said, yes, yes I have read it. Do you think I would I suit an assymetrical bob?
Which leads me to think she wasn't paying attention
And I said yes if you will cover up your chest. She is my daughterRetail is the only therapy that works0 -
Oh ws you've left me in two minds now. I really want to read it, I think it will be fascinating. But at the price of your family ostracising you and other families possibly threatening you, I don't know whether that's a price worth paying. I just don't know I'm so on the fence I've splinters in bad places. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
