I'm not sure this is a nice people question, but does anyone else ignore any threads started by a poster who only has upper case letters in their name?
If its someone I've read and made a judgement well...yes, but if its someone I'm not aware of then I'll read them.0 -

Gutted... was going to book onto a course on Saturday, went to the website and it was today
Now, this is annoying because I wanted to do that one now, so I knew if I was any good at that stuff .... then it's tax return time, then it's off to spec out a new area. Or, should I just stay in this area for 1-2 years, get some space and dabble around with making stuff ... I can always move in the future. Thing is, moving means trying to get a "proper job", staying here means accepting there aren't any proper jobs I'd want and everything's a long way away and minimum wage/low pay.
Difficult....
Planned dates to spec out new area were 30th - 11th. But there's another course I could go on instead on 3rd - and another/elsewhere on 5th. So it might be worthwhile hanging around a bit more.
I always seem to be hanging around waiting for something!0 -

It's not been demoted yet in 4 years.... but I know that at the drop of a hat, any day, my site could suddenly produce me £0.0 -

Well, the published PR is a kind of ego thing... in the real world it is not that important unless you want to sell links or web sites, in which case it helps a bit.
I've been doing some thinking around the entire google thing... I am too dependent on google, and I know it. In the long term, that is a risk proposition. I am considering rolling out ye olde traffic techniques from before the google revolution.
And the practical reality is that I am increasingly coming across things I want to sell, which I know people are not searching for.
For example: bat shelters. How many people actually search on how to buy a bat shelter? Next to none. So how do you sell it? If you rely on google, you will not make any sales. But I believe there are a lot of people who have never thought of a bat shelter, but who would buy one if they knew about it.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I haven't got that person on ignore, but what can I say? I've read a few and now can't be bothered so you could say
