It's too far fetched, I dip in occasionally, not looked for about 4 days or more though.

    :)

I read it for a week or so but now it's just a bit OTT.

I have been reading it since the very beginning and although some things are predictable, it has got me through a few down days since it started.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I read some of it in early days, thought this but also sniggered.

Thing is....I can see something like that happening to us. There are things that you know if you shared would just seem unreal....

but its still going is it?

Pastures and silvercar - I've just discovered the Clampetts thread on the housing board - have broken off about half way through to check on here before going back to it. What a gem! If they get anything as priceless as that going again, do tip us nice people a nod so we can enjoy it too.

If you enjoyed that, you should look back at the one about the people who wanted to bury their dog in the back garden one on the same board. It was much funnier.

Also, I don't think you were around when this board pulled out its finest ever thread, about window licking and eating dopester's dog. Also very worth a read. I look back at this every time I'm feeling down and it gives me an instant PMSL pick me up. Read the front page to get the gist of it then start a few pages in when it really gets underway:

Um, anyone remember my upstiars plans? I'm having a doubt.

I'm thinking to put the corridor from main staircase to our room through the west facing bathroom, rather than comprimise the ''middle' bedroom as on those plans. Architect ''aesthetically'' advises against a blind corridor, (which this would have to be, the wall there can't take another rsj).

Opinions....bigger second bedroom and a blind corridor or smaller bedroom, bigger bathroom (we'd probably ditch the dressing room there and shuffle it into the master ''suite'' room, which is plenty big enough) and the corridor that ends in a door not a turn?

lir I can't remember exactly, how about posting a link over at the other place, we can have a look and you can go back in and delete, but just post a link rather than the plans.

By blind corridor do you mean you could not shift the master bedroom door to be at the end of the repostioned corridor?

The 'family bathroom would then only be as wide as the ensuite shower room to bedroom 4? Would it be the whole length of the bathroom plus dressing room on the current plan?

Edit: What are the dimensions of bedroom 2 as drawn on the plan?
    I think....

Yep, structurally it just can't take it, it is believed.

Yes. Enough width, just, for a decent sized bath. And, yes, would leave longer I think, big main bathroom possibly more important than squeezing in a dressing room?

My parents house has a dogleg-corridor without natuaral light and I can't say it is very nice (it starts to feel quite 'institutional' I feel). So I think I am erring with what you have drawn now. If you did go with your thoughts I would recommend obscure glazing the top of the wall between the bathroom and the corridor to allow some borrowed light.
