I'm using the boards for maximum value. To be honest, I feel guilty about this last one so it might be the last one for a while.
Och, there is always something to buy.
I've been looking at curtain rails today. I've found gorgeous ones..but the price _pale_ I want really chunky, chunky curtain rails. I'm trying to be sensible about brackets and finials.0 -

I won't be up in an hour.
I always think these companies (Litle chef also springs to mind) are really brave to get involved with these shows. I'm not sure I'd like to reveal my most crass side on tv:D0 -

I give up, chat away. H is watching Indiana Jones now. I might have a bath and sulk. Trying to do an on-line grocery shop but so far all I've got is two bags of cat litter and five bottles of wine. Not sure what that says about me!
Don't know what else to buy. Lots of people and children coming on Saturday, need to think of something fabulous that can be made for 5 adults and 5 kids, but frugally.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

If you let your cat get that drunk don't be surprise if it misses the tray.
ATM we have FIVE litter trays. Its getting me down tbh...and feral still decides the litter tray is the work of the devil sometimes. Thank god they were cheapy shoes she found to go in today.:mad:0 -

HM pizza. Grown up toppings might differ from the kids ones.
You can keep shoving two more in at a time, slice it rustically and keep bringing i to the table hot, steaming and with oozey cheese.0 -
If you are willing to eat cheap Salmon, how about Salmon en croute.
All our TV these days comes from tvcatchup, iplayer, 40d etc - we could probably lose the aerial now but I dread to think how much internet bandwidth we use each month...I think....0 -

(thanks Doozer)...
I really enjoyed it. I did hope fc would stop by as tonight's episode was about as up her street as it's possible to be.
I was amazed that the young woman with the dark hair and the big smile was the shop assistant with all those levels of people above her. She was the stand-out worker and I hope she goes far. But I hope they turn the chain around (they should give her the responsibility to go out and talk to the workers in the other stores). I can't bear shopping in any of those places as I don't have the patience. Especially Primark. Every now and again I see someone in something I like from H&M or Primark but couldn't go there if you paid me. silvercar, what a lovely size kitchen although I agree that the space is more than a little challenging! It still looks like a lovely kitchen to me, you should at least put it on eBay if you are getting rid of all those units? I'd love to see a floorplan with dimensions as the space and perspective is quite hard to decipher from the pics.
Do you already have a separate utility?
Not doing anything for a while. I'm quite happy with it (now that I've replaced the worktops with granite) but I can see the layout is all wrong and could be far more efficient.
Separate utility room that has a much better layout.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
