My aerial isn't picking up channel 4! I'm watching Casualty back from the weekend. C4+1 seems to work so I'll watch Mary Portas in a bit.

Does anyone know when the gypsy thing is on again?

silvercar, what a lovely size kitchen although I agree that the space is more than a little challenging! It still looks like a lovely kitchen to me, you should at least put it on eBay if you are getting rid of all those units? I'd love to see a floorplan with dimensions as the space and perspective is quite hard to decipher from the pics.

Do you already have a separate utility?

LydiaJ, thank you, you must be so excited, it's a great size house for a family and I'm very happy for you that you've now got the house that you've always deserved What is your builder doing to it, did you tell us already and I missed it in my confusion of not seeing the pics? I will look back. I remember the conversation about the entrance and can see why the surveyor thought the entrance thing might detract from the value, but if it suits you as it is, then it's perfect . I can see the benefit of knocking into the kitchen and having a door that you can shut a door into the main conservatory to hide any random mess from callers, whilst using it as you wanted yourself maybe?

I don't know about the gypsy repeat but re channel four. I lost film four recently...I onlt new this because while DH was home I suggested we watch a film (the only trouble he had post crash was feeling unsettled, doing anything for longer than about 30 mins, so a thought a film might help..him settle for longer). Anyway, I emailed them through the website (it was a pain to find but I went via the FAQ page) and they are taking it REALLY seriously. e.g. today I had two emails telling me they haven't forgotten and are on the case.

I feel a bit guilty they are providing such good service! Mary Portas would be proud!

I'm using the boards for maximum value. To be honest, I feel guilty about this last one so it might be the last one for a while.
