Probably. Can you capture the pdf somehow and save it as something else - jpg or something?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

No. The only way in from the street is via the conservatory. The surveyor thought that this was weird and would detract from the value of the house. I'm quite happy to put up with it, especially if it means I got the house for less that I'd have had to pay if it had had a more conventional layout.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? I also wondered if there's a door between the kitchen and dining room. There's a hole there according to plan, but could be a serving hatch or they could have missed the swingy door sign thingy off the plan (that's a technical term you know)...
Sorry Lydia, house looks lovely. I'm very envious of anyone with an en-suite. We have space for one here, but not the budget at moment. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? lir, you are not an idiot. Idiotic and uninformed are not related. Please don't get upset on account of us on here.
I've always found pdfs a nightmare to work with, and can't usually get them to do anything except view and print. On my work laptop I have a natty piece of software that will capture a piece of screen in a format you can copy to the clipboard as a picture, so I extract bits of pdfs with that. I don't know how to do it on my own laptop, though. If I need to do it, I copy the file to my work laptop, extract what I want, and copy back to my own. So that doesn't leave me much the wiser for how to advise you.
viva, there is a doorway between the kitchen and dining room, but no door in it.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? There should be a 'print screen' button on your keyboard (top right) - press this when looking at the picture in the PDF (size it so you can see everything on the screen) then go to paint and choose edit and paste. Now chose the cutting tool (top row of tools, looks like a rectangle) and draw a square round the bit of picture you want and choose copy. Now choose file new (don't need to save) and then paste - you should now have the bit of image you want which you can file saveas - jpg is probably a better format than bmp as the file will not be to big.lostinrates wrote: »ok...stumbling block one......its a pdf...does that mean I can't copy and make changes?

Ah that makes sense. I have the same with my kitchen, but they drew a door into the plan for my house, so I thought that was the symbol for all doorways:o.
It does look lovely though.
On a different note DH is going away for a bit shortly and I'm planning to redec master bedroom while he's away without telling him. Do you think that's naughty of me?Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
