And it is a great way to deal with stress when you get home.

And it gives you something to chat about at work/with friends or on MSE:D

Also, totally opposite to what you were saying about finishing stuff, while you might finish a little job..gardening itself is never finished....which I think is in many ways reassuring.

Yes! Because there is purpose & progress, which is tangiable & you can see (& taste:D)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

yes, but also coping with the bare earth times.knowing to feed what you can't see below the ground with manure and that the nuture through the bleak pays off....just as with our own moods...easy to love ourselves at our best, harder to remember to nuture the times we feel like ''bare, empty beds''

edit. I think I'm sounding american today. I better go and have a cuppa and some marmite as an antidote....

Send me some pics later if you like ..........something for you to do apart from the web stuff could work well for you.
I have to go to sleep now as early start tomo and I need to be buzzy...not all droopy and tired ;-) but a look about etsy.com will show you what's about and what's selling.

...and don't set your own price...send me a pic and base cost + time and I will price it as you will price it too low. :D
Yes, I'm scared of high prices. Until I came to MSE I had no idea people had so much money! Living on/near the breadline for decades kind of skews thinking :)

As I see it, there are two types of stuff to make:
[1] anybody could make it, so it's just materials/time to get to that point
[2] actually talented, creative and designing stuff

I see myself as Type 1. It'll all be "clean lines" stuff. No rocket science.

Anyway, still at the investigation stage.

Spotted about 20 minutes ago that I've made 7p today. Had to poke the server. That's two Tuesdays in a row. D4mned annoying, it's a shared server, so somebody else on it must be doing a big mailout or something. I'll keep a closer eye on it; the host updated the memory on the server about 3 weeks ago, should get onto them about it really but I have nothing to say except "it wasn't working, I made it work" and so that's not anything for them to go on to 'fix' it as such.
