Am I alone in calling this a remote control then? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

we just call it the remote.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly. In our house it's the bloody annoying thing (except for some reason there have to be 3 of them!) that's always left in the middle of the sofa.
Err... yes, we have two of them, though one does about 95% of the functions and the other looks after the other 5%. Daft!
I also have to admit that I don't know much about the 95% one, so when left alone with it, all sorts of strange things happen, though not always what I want. I don't really know what the red button is for, either.:o
There's worse. Here beside me is a special setup I made for turning videos into DVDs. Somehow, I set it up, and several years ago, I even made some DVDs with it. Now, since we moved, I'm not sure that it's all connected properly, so I keep putting the DVD archiving off.0 -

Poor you! Yes, there's something about not quite being able to see my way forward that makes me keep pushing particular jobs to the back of the queue. They're the 'one of these days' ones.

In our house we call it the remote. Occasionally with an expletive in front of it.
I think zapper would get confused with my battery operated gnat and fly squatter - one of my favourite household devices, I think it's a man thing.0 -

tennis racket style, or gun style? Tennis racket better for mozzie type bugs, gun better for flies I think. I'm a dab hand with the old fashion type swat for flies ...i sort of distract them with a little dance and then thwack. They rarely get away.:D0
