I've changed my avatar so that for just a moment I can look like Snow White for lir. I was 3 at the time.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Didn't we have that photo in avatar night a while back? Unfortunately I have done a PN and not mentally stored any of the pictures as it didn't seem important but now of course I am thinking it would be useful to remember - what I do remember thinking is either how attractive all the ladies are for internet freaks or alternatively that women tend to make sure they have 'good' photos to hand whereas blokes mostly just post up whatever they have have just taken on the camera phone/webcam.

This not working malarky does have its good points when it comes to worrying about being tired in the morning although I am still doing the school run but even with a shower and teeth clean before going out the door I can still come back and catch 40 winks no trouble.
    I think....

Yeah, shame that I now have to rely on spanx, a gallon of nivea and more slap than a pantomime dame.

I don't believe that for one minute viva. I'm sure you're gorgeous!

I have tried to sort out a pic of mine but I don't know how to do it, so sorry. Maybe I'll ask DH to assist another time.

I'm jealous I missed the nicest conversation so far this year. Hope all is well. The new job is keeping me busy, I have spare time in my day that's never existed before...

I love you Jonny. You're so the metrosexual. Spanx normally has a totally different context for men.

I've never bothered. It's just me - so all that effort to try to mix enough batter for about 4 bits of chicken, then frying it without a chip pan.... and all the other faffery, just for one ... easier to go up the chinese :)
Generally, for cooking, I've never bothered. This has been for a variety of reasons. One is that I have strange irrational fears about using cookers and fat and hot things ... in case of fire.

But, in addition to that, my parents kitchen was always small, dire, without any "me" space available. I then lived in a caravan and it was just me, with no freezer. Then I had a studio, just me, no freezer. Then I was moving about a bit, bedsits, just me, no freezer. Then I bought a house and was working away all week for the first year or so, then I wasn't working and the kitchen was horrid and it was just me and the house was cold/draughty (so kitchen unwelcoming). Then I rented a studio and couldn't cook as it'd stink the place out - and there was no freezer. Now I'm here and there's no "me" space to put foods, I'd be in the way, it'd cause arguments and mocking and so I cook mostly "just for me" so there's no point.

Really looking forward to one day having a nice, small, warm house, with a nice sized kitchen, good cupboards and a freezer :)

I do find that motivation for preparing food when you're alone is difficult, & it is easy to talk yourself out of making a nice, or even "extravagant" meal.

I enjoy cooking - even basic meals. A big part of the pleasure I get is seeing other people I have prepared food for enjoying it.

The effort to do that for a single meal can be demotivating, but I believe it is important to overcome this, else we start to see food as simply fuel, which it isn't/shouldn't be.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
