It's funny how you form mental images of other posters. I always imagined both you and Max to be quite tall. I never quite guessed that tall though!
Height can be handy though. When I take my nephew to London, if we get split up in a crowd I just look up and see him. He's about 6'7".Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Others are:
1] married, miles away, retired/busy/holidaying a lot
2] single, local but works miles away, very busy with full time employment and full time hobbies (7 days/week out and about).
I'd make such an easy patsy and my life would be over - and it's never started
Awwww....don't say that. You never know what's around the corner.
Have you had The Family Meeting yet? Could be an idea so everyone knows what to expect and for you to state that you are happy to help whenever but you can't be a f/t carer now.....same as them.
OH is calling one for next week with his siblings.
I am going to write a big bold list of what the issues are and which are solveable and those that aren't.0 -
I'm not sure, but I think I'm probably about 5' 4" now, though I was taller than that when young....say 5' 6"... but we shrink as we age.
Acknowledging how shallow we all are, for the male height minimum there is a comparable women size maximum.
Though I think your height is perfectly acceptable - I would set the minimum around 5".I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. we're hoping to render some later, or even timber clad some. Plants will grow over them in places, but has to be a ''safe, easy to clean working environment'' so doorways etc have to be kept clear of vegetation.
I forgot it's a proper working farm ...haha...I would deff go pale rather than dark though and I like the lower stripe idea in a darker colour. You could paint it all rose pink just for fun though.;)JonnyBravo wrote: »Afraid not. Kept growing past 17. Stopped around 19 I think.

Good for concerts.
Bad for doorways.
Good for having lovely ladies approach me in bars... esp if they're pi$ $ed
Bad for buying clothes. Thought about outsize mens wear fc123?
p.s. nice to "see" you fc. hope the business is going well. presume that why youve been away.
So tall....0-0.......I think I would drop down to nil income if I did outsize menswear....totally out of my creative zone. Yes....it just suddenly went mental and I had to really concentrate to keep it all turning over like clockwork...very challanging season what with riots, snow and one of the factories we use driving me totally nuts and almost making me a crazy woman (on the inside of course...I show total calm on the outside whilst a whirlwind is in the inside of my head).okay everyone, we need to start the party for 2011.

Renting a room isn't an option. 99% of people advertising rooms to let don't want somebody old enough to be their mother, who stays up all night and crouches in the garden with a cigarette and doesn't leave the houseAnd I have speshul issues that mean if I shared I'd have setbacks, I am needing to get away as I need my own space as I've gone into shutdown/hermit mode, I need to be able to do stuff the way I want to and when I want to.
I can up the self-employed, that's why I need my own space, so I can focus.... but while I can try, trying doesn't guarantee success.
London's off the radar now. Partly because my previous car was old and I didn't mind leaving it parked up for 3 months, but now I have one worth 6x as much so not keen on having it sitting around.... and, the offer of a flat disappeared and has never been spoken of since.
I don't want to miss the sea, I want to keep it close byExtended the search to +20 miles but that didn't yield much either.
I might make a "crazy offer" to somebody with a winter let. They want about £2300, I might offer £1500 cash up front for 3 months and they might just take it as it's a winter let so the market is limited for them as each day ticks by. Easter's late next year, makes an initial 3 month trip viable, without it being truncated by an early 'peak season/holiday weekend'
You could come and live in my garage. We'd not bother each other and we could write to each other at this time of night across tinternet.
I was thinking about converting it, pointless space that it is, but I probably wouldn't have to do much to it for your minimal requirements!
Handily situated, alas not in Cornwall.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Being an only child, I felt as if there was no other option, but I was wrong.
I know now that there is always another option. Pushing people outside their comfort zones can, if properly handled, lead to benefits for all.
By the time I'd persuaded my Dad to go where he ended-up, it was too bloody late. As the 'responsible' one, I should have acted sooner, but like most people, I wimped-out.0 -
