    5p for the pot today.
ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)
  • Raided my drawer at work to see what shrapnel was lying around in there - scraped together 80p, and it's gone straight in the tin. Think I'll promise £200 in mine, and will aim to beat it!
    :j
I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.
  • No.159 reporting for saving duty. Still got my tin going from when I started here, have a copper jar to empty too plus a 20p money box and a 5p money box. I have also ran the £2 coin challenge. Should be able to fill the rest of my tin soon!

    Happy Saving

I only had a penny to go in today, so I put £5 in with it.

I also added my coin bags so that I know where they are next year - I always lose them! This way, when I open the pot the bags will be there.

A very warm welcome to the thread, tinkertaylor05. It's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Have fun saving in 2011. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much.

JoeyGrey, your Target is now updated, all the best in achieving it! :D

Well done jakes-mum on that knock down price from Sky, very, very good work! Martin would be proud of you! :money:

LolaLemon, don't feel too bad about the £5er you found. Your thought about someone else pocketing it if you hadn't is very true. Sometimes, though we can so very easily feel sympathy for the real owner, the fact is that she/he dropped it and the chances of the rightful owner ever retrieving it are so very slim. Be happy, Lola, as it's more than likely a surety that the same person also has picked up cash in just the same way! To each comes a turn. :D

As you rightly say, Fiasco55, you're off and running now!

Anyone would think Spot the Ball was an archaic thing - DH & I used to do it in 1984, it came with the pools - we couldn't fathom the pools out but knew how to put an X on paper!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

It's so lovely to see you back, Buffy! :j Have you any total to declare on SPC 3? If so, could you please put it on SPC 3 which is here for me? Thanks a lot Buffy.

That's it for tonight, I need an early night as there's more shopping to do in the morning and a trim later. Take good care with your savings. ;)

Have a good day everyone, not long til the weekend! :D

Sue x Anyone else wishing to join, please say the word, you're most welcome.
