  • I hope it's not too late to ask if I could join too, pretty please?

I'm 32 weeks pregnant with our first child and, although we're saving hard to afford maternity leave, I have no idea how we're going to manage next year!

I'd like to aim to save £200 in my sealed pot (although first I need to find a suitable pot that can't be tampered with!). This will either go towards debt repayments or Christmas/birthdays next year.

    Good luck everyone

i completely forgot about my tubs of 1p's and 2p's

have just counted them up and comes to £19.93 total + a five pence which has gone into sealed tin :D

will be getting the 1p's and 2p's changed up at weekend into 10p's etc. to go into my tin :D, so will be a total of £48.69 so far in my tin (had to take £2 out for window cleaner) :)

Sue, please could my target for next year be updated to £200 :)

My first small clunk - just one lonely little £1 coin - got ravaged by parking fees :(
  • Morning all,

Wasnt going to go out today so would have had no chance of getting any change until tonight - but I have cystitis so had to go and get some medicine from the pharmacy (which tastes really awful). On the plus side that left me with some change to go in the pot (£6.77) and in true MSE style I half walked, half skated home saving myslef £1.60 in busfare.
Soory to hear your not feeling yourself but I find if I have cystitis , If I drink lots of cranberry juice it shifts it. als buy potassium citrate from chemist its only cheap dilute it in water. hope it goes soon .x

Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much.

Hi everyone! Sorry, I can't stop now, but wanted to say hellp to DFSD and add that I've updated your Target LucyToons.

I'll see you later all, til then be good - and henna - no pooping is allowed here! :rotfl::rotfl:

To whomever it was that has cystitis - try cranberry juice, but quite a bit per day. Also, drink plenty of water to wash the infection through and you'll soon feel much better.

Sue x Anyone else wishing to join, please say the word, you're most welcome.
